In fact, I may boycott the whole site for Christmas, just because I think what they did is bad business. My $700 or so at Christmas may not mean much to them, but if a lot of people did it, maybe it would send a message.

I thought it had changed when I was shopping today. That stinks. I just started ordering diapers this month through S&S and I got my order in just under the wire (ordered Oct. 12). I will probably now be cancelling my subscription and going back to the store. Bummer.

Omg this change only happened three days ago? I could have stocked up. Guess it's tome to clip coupons and shop at the local stores.

I just went back and checked the manage subscribe and save items under my account. The diapers that I subscribe too locked in on the 30% discount. I just clicked send extra shipment now and got it with 30% off instead of 20%. Hope this is helpful.

Look what I found in faq:

What happens to the 30% discount I'm receiving on my existing diapers and wipes subscriptions --will this discount change as well?

* Any diapers and wipes subscriptions created before October 13, 2011 will remain at 30%. To verify the discount you're receiving on all of your diapers and wipes subscriptions, you can always visit Manage Your Subscribe & Save Items page.

Seems Amazon is cutting a lot of corners...

Today I received an item that was no where near the item ordered- it was just marked as it! I go to return it and get stuck in a circle with the automated system so I ended up having to have a human call.

Anyway- item I wanted is now not available for 2 months! REALLY!? I think they intentionally shipped the wrong item, knowing they didn't have the item in stock just so they could tie up money...

I dunno, I used to love Amazon, now I find myself looking elsewhere for purchases.

Thank goodness I switched to cloth this baby, I would be hot about the Amazon mom/subscribe and save shenanigans.

I never received a notice either.

It's exactly what happens when an article is written and exposes a good thing.... they see more demand, more suckers, and it goes away under the radar and you're left stuck.

Yeah, I was also ordering A TON of non-Mom items (for me and my company) off of Amazon that I usually buy elsewhere to reward them for their MOM program. I was planning on doing my big huge expensive 50+ gift Christmas shopping list from Amazon. I'm definitely not going to support this kind of deception and will take my Christmas shopping elsewhere.

Sam's Club has always been honest and loyal to us for decades and I should have just stuck with them in the first place. Most everything else is less expensive there than Amazon. AND For only a dollar more a package on diapers and also free delivery - NEXT DAY - I will be taking my business BACK to SAM'S.

This is really really crappy of Amazon and I won't let them walk all over us and take me as a customer for granted!

I was in the process of switching all of my purchasing power here to Amazon.

BUT NOW for Amazon, a couple greedy deceptive bucks on my diapers, just lost Amazon TENS of THOUSANDS of DOLLARS this year just in my expected purchases alone!

Out of curiosity, did you guys subscribe to the diapers? If you did and you signed up for the automatic shipments, you still lock in onto the discount. I know that for the luvs diaper that I purchased for my son months ago I am locked in on the 30% discount as long as I do not unsubscribe and there is also the option for me to change the sizes. They also did not send me no warning but I remembered reading that we lock into the discount percentage regardless of the price change as long as we subcribe. Amazon mission statement "To continue to offer quality products and services using the best technology available and at a reasonable price" is failing miserably.

Amazon Mom/Prime/etc members still get the additional 15% off (for a total of 20%). Thus, I'm not sure if there is a legitimate reason for being mad. You can't complain when someone reduces the "value" of "free"...

Edit: I do think it sucks, however, that we never received notification that this was happening. Then again, grocery stores don't tell you when they are going to change their prices. Keeping in mind again that participation is "free", I see why they really didn't have to notify anyone...

The great thing about a free market and free enterprise is that we, as consumers, don't have to put up with a company being less than ethical in their manner of doing business. We get to voice our opinions and be heard. We get to be pissed, or not. We get to take our business elsewhere, or choose to stay. But we get the choice. I choose to be heard, voice my opinion, and be pissed. I also choose to take my business elsewhere. You are welcomed to stay and get your diapers here. For me, it is no longer a good deal, and Amazon is not the company I thought it to be.

I understand that my current subscription still maintains the 30% discount but my baby will not be in that size for much longer!!! This is bad business as far as I am concerned and amazon will no longer get my money on the multiple boxes of diapers I order for not only myself but also baby showers and diaper cakes. I shake my head at this terrible business venture they have taken to save a pretty penny.

So now if I re-sub I'm locked in at the 20%. Amazon is losing a customer over these shady practices. Try calling their customer service line, you'll see what I'm talking about.
