I'm looking for a non toxic mattress for my 4 year old. So far, the only one that I've found was the Naturepedic brand. Anyone have any advice or suggestions of other brands?

We got this one.
Natural Mat Coco Mat
If you look around online you may be able to find a little better deal. We ended up buying it directly from the company's website because they were doing a deal at the time. It's completely chemical free, and didn't have any smell to it at all when we got it. Fit our crib very well with no gaps at all. We also got this mattress pad to protect it, but there are wool ones out there depending on how strict you want to be.
American Baby Company Organic Cotton Quilted Crib & Toddler Crib Size Fitted Mattress Pad Covers, Natural
ETA They do also make larger mattresses, not just crib sized.

I love my Naturpedic No Compromises crib mattress. 4.5 years of nightly use, and it is now moving on to its second kid. It is just like new. My oldest has just been moved to her new Keetsa twin sized mattress, but with a Luna (from amazon) mattress pad to waterproof it, as she still wears pull-ups at night. I know the Luna mattress pad is comfortable because we put one on our bed in anticipation of the new baby, and it is so soft and breathable I can't even tell it is there.

I think since her child is 4 she is looking for something larger than a crib mattress. :-) I am in the same predicament though. Our daughter is going on 4 and we want an organic mattress as well but don't really know what to look for.

Check out the Nook Pebble - they are making a twin sized mattress now for toddlers/babies ready for a big bed.

I just went through searching for a mattress for us and organic or chemical free mattresses larger than a crib size are extremely hard to find at a semi-reasonable price. Naturepedic is probably your best bet. The are actually non-toxic as opposed to many other brands who can only attempt at being truly chemical free. Nook is nice but at the top of the price range for checmical-free mattresses. Moonlight Slumber has some nice options. They use foam in some, which isn't always the best bet for eliminating chemicals. Natura is another brand that is ok. Keesta isn't too bad.
