T. Vickery: Grow up Vickery. Both Eisenhower and Bush played lots of golf. JFK went sailing every chance possible; I believe it was Carter who hid out at Camp David
all the time. (Maybe they all did). Everyone bitches, the country keeps on moving. Find something worth talking about.

T. Vickery: So Biden speaks in incomplete sentences. It is the largest car company. Also rated the best IN THE WORLD. Saw the ex-CEO on television again (3rd time) last
night. First time was on Charlie Rose maybe two months ago, another was as an interviewee On MSNBC or CNN ( or maybe Nancy Grace, ha ha ) and then last night on Steven
Colbert. This guy says, repeatedly, he is a Republican, but Obama saved the butt of the car industry in the US and is responsible for saving the jobs of over a million people.

I think perhaps not many people can say that about any other President for a very long time.

Dear Silly Lily,

The chances of me ever being polite to you again are slim and NONE and Slim just left the building. You're a horrible little person. Just another old sour puss, who's brave with online insults and a coward when dealing with someone face-to-face.

Vickery: Do you want to know what is the really sad joke on this issue. All the Republican leadership, from Limbaugh to the Speaker of the House, complaining about the activism Supreme Court. That takes some balls and a very straight face to pull that off. First of all, they don't know (I assume) what the vote is yet - or maybe they do!!!. But where were they when the Court decided that Corporations were people. That has got to be one of the most stupid judgments any Supreme Court in the world has ever made. Did you hear any complaints about that from the Republicans. They were wringing their hands with glee.

And I am not as confident as Obama is about what the Supreme Court dares not do, But the idea that the health care bill is unconstitutional is outrageous and if it is so judged it is time to have a rewrite. I'm sick to death of this exceptionalism of the United States. We are in so many ways exceptionally stupid and exceptionally greedy.

And you are Southern.

And please do tell me the last time you saw me interact with some face to face. I have more friends today than you have had in your lifetime.

I'm trying to remember if you ever chastised me for calling you a liar. I believe you did. however, I am right.

Lily I could not agree with you more about your post regarding people on food stamps and what they wear. True some money is wasted and some families probably get more assistance than what they truly need i.e ability to afford to buy steak and lobster but it also is not the other extreme to where people are buying new clothes, shoes, purses, etc... and on food stamps. Thats just not the case 99% of the time.

Yep, Another example of how clueless obama/Barry Soeotoro actually is.
Also, know that obama has used executive orders several times and has
signed bills into "law" WITHOUT going through Congress. In other words,
mr. obama is willing to go through Congress if and when it suits his agenda
but when if he thinks it won't pass Congress, (most likely because of the
more conservative House) he will sign into law whatever his arrogant mind
can think of, one example if the signing into law that every illegal immigrant
has now been given legal status regarding the amnesty agenda he signed
into law.
Also T., the word I have is that mr. obama has appointed a Spanish firm, owned
and operated by George Soros, will be the people who will count the ballots for
the next election. I can provide a link for this T., if you wish, I have it in my list
of emails if you wish to see the article. Thanks for all your great insights.

I also posted this as separate discussion topics along with the articles themselves to read in these forums. Here, I'm just posting the links themselves so you can go there and read it. But sometimes I paste the whole article AND THE LINKS so people can do it either way.

Several links here to check:
Spanish Company Will "Count" American Votes Overseas In November
http://www.westernjournalism.com/spanish-company-will-count-american-votes-overseas-in-november/

Here is another link on the same situation, entitled, "George Soros Will Control Your Votes In The Up Coming Election." Link is below:
http://forums.bf2s.com/viewtopic.php?pid=3791731

Here is a Michael Savage video: http://conservativebyte.com/2012/04/michael-savage-how-obama-fixed-2012-election/

Snopes has also verified this Spanish firm counting the votes/controlling the votes. I don't usually trust Snopes, but they are correct this time.
Here is that link for Snopes: http://www.snopes.com/politics/immigration/dreamact.asp

HOWEVER, Snopes adds that IF ""They agree to enlist in the U.S. Military or enroll in college."" IF THOSE CONDITIONS ARE TRUE, IT WOULD BE SO OBAMA COULD EITHER ADD TO HIS PRIVATE ARMY THAT HE SAID WOULD BE "JUST AS WELL FINANCED" AS THE REGULAR MILITARY. AS FOR COLLEGE, THE COLLEGES THESE DAYS ARE PRETTY MUCH LIBERAL AND BRAINWASH A LOT OF YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN---lots of future votes from there as well as from illegals.

There are MANY other things I could post too, but sometimes I'm overwhelmed by it all. I have posted a lot, complete with links--USUALLY, so
people can check things out for themselves. I don't expect anyone to just take my word for what I post, neither should they. I have posted over 450 discussions topics over the last 3.5 years.

SciTeach says:
Sorry, Tobey. GM did NOT payback its loan with its funds-- and Obama admin lie. In fact, GM did not repay the loans with money it earned from selling cars. Instead, GM repaid the TARP loans with money it withdrew from another TARP fund at the Treasury Department.

The day before the GM story broke, Neil Barofsky, the government TARP watchdog, testified before the Senate Finance Committee. He explained that GM did not use earnings to repay its TARP debt. The April quarterly report to Congress from his office stated: "The source of funds for these quarterly [debt] payments will be other TARP funds currently held in an escrow account."

GM filings with the SEC reveal that GM was paying 7 percent interest on a $6.7 billion TARP debt. The filings also confirm that the source of funds for GM's debt repayments was a multibillion-dollar TARP-funded escrow account at Treasury; that means it was taxpayer money - not earnings.

Ah, what makes you so sure this time? Because it suits your purposes?

And what does this have to do with the voting machines?

SciTeach: I have never heard your argument before, but rather than spend time looking it up
I will ask this. If it is true, so what?

Did, or did not GM pay its loans as agreed upon? Is or is not GM selling cars, employing lots
of people, and doing so in a way that is winning them awards?

Lientje says:
Garland: You could find lots of blogs about the Soros-owned Spanish firm. And they
say virtually the same thing, word for word. First of all, there is a small problem in that
not a one of these copy catters have in any way suggested where they learned that the Soros-
owned firm is in fact Soros owned. Not one person has even named the name of the firm, so that
the rest of us could check it out for ourselves.

I'll let you in on a little secret. Some of us actually do that, you know. We check out the
information given to us by bloggers. It can be time consuming, but so very often it is so
very enlightening also.

Anyway, as I know nothing more than the oft-repeated "Soros-owned Spanish firm," I will
just say this at this point. What makes you think it would be a fair election if it were counted
in the United States?

And - what would you do if you had no reason to claim that Obama wasn't our real president
after the next election? You HAVE to have something to bellyache about. This looks like as
good a chance as any. Count your blessings. You can now go to your grave knowing that
Obama was never really our President. God will be happy with you.

Did this end up on your list of 1st's also for President Obama? Do you know that it has been
happening since the late 1700's? Do you know anything about Executive Orders and this
"arrogant" president.

Executive orders explain law, they do not create law. They are virtually always directed towards
agencies within the federal government, telling them how to do their job. States also use
executive orders all the time. Occasionally Congress believes that an Executive Order has
overreached it's power and it will be challenged. The vast majority of the time, it is simply part
of the way they do business over there in Washington.

Got any other scare mongering for us? You know, something that might really scare us. And
do try to leave the names of Stalin and Hitler out of it. That has been overplayed to death.

No tax returns.

Can't see Bain documents.

Won't name bundlers.

Oh and don't even ask for records from Mitt's term as Governor.

Zombie mom says:
Who cares about his tax returns. His businesses have employeed and produced more taxes than most people. Bain is a private industry. GM in my opinion was a bad choice, but I can see your argument. The fact is we have gone from 1 trillion to 15 trillion debt in four years, that wasn't bush's fault. That was obamas administration. We have stayed at over 8% unemployment for three years. They haven't passed a budget for three years, which is what we pay them to do. Obamas budget was voted down by everyone in senate and house that is 513 votes or so including people in his own party. You can like him, you can vote for him, but he cannot lead the country, he has proven that.

Do I need to say more.
***
Anyway, you started out with "Who cares about his tax returns"

I care, and for one particular reason. The last type of person, other than a Hitler, I want in the White House is one who is going to give us more of the same. Once upon time, let's say, oh, pre-Reagan days, CEO's were making 5x or on occasion up to 10x what their workers were making. There were some good times and there were some bad times, but we had not yet created an oligarchy. We would push through the rocky times and then get on with business. There are 3 other countries in the industrialized world where the difference between the
rich and the poor are as great or greater than in the US - China, Mexico, India.

The mentality changed after Reagan. Not so many rules to follow. The sky is the limit. In the mid 1980's there were 5 billionaires in the world. One of them was Bill Gates. A guy who created his product, hired people to work for him, sold his product. His reason for being was to create product. The money followed. That is not the case today. And it is certainly not the case with Romney. He first inherited his wealth, then he created a company to buy up other companies, he did what he felt needed to be done to make himself some more money. And when Bain went bankrupt he still walked away with millions. No, I do not want that man as President, nor anyone who is like him. And if finding out what his tax returns are I think more people will realize that he is far more likely the problem than the cure.

Should he be elected, the employment rates will skyrocket, for awhile. My husband owns his own business and has had it for over 30 years. He needs more people on the payroll badly but he is waiting to find out what the "rules" will be. He is by no means alone.

If Romney is elected, the growing oligarchy will continue to grow. The middle class will be employed but its buying power will remain static at best. Since it has already diminished a great deal under Reaganomics, the trend will probably continue.

Rich people are not our saviors. I am amazed at what I see over on the political forum. Unemployed people hollering "don't raise taxes on the rich" as if they really expect jobs to come their way only if we don't tax the rich.

I have seen people like Garland, who gets all his ideas and bellyaches from mass email stuff, complain that Obama hasn't shown his college records, his grade school records (I kid you not), his baptism certificate (again, I kid you not), but I haven't heard anything about the tax returns. And that is because of course we all know that Obama was never a rich guy. He made a million dollars one year because of the sales of his books. The rest of the time his wife made more than he did.

Obama may not be common himself, but he sure understands common people a whole lot more than Romney ever will - or ever wanted to.
My favorite image of Romney - the prancing/dancing horse. His $77,000 tax deduction. IT SO FITS.

Bwahahaha. I cannot believe a mind, like this, could exists in this world. Clearly there are ulterior motives here just like, oh yeah you dropped his name, Adolph Hitler. Study history, listen to his early speeches about restoring the economy, creating jobs and bringing respect back to Germany in 1933. Sounds reasonable, just like you, only hindsight tells us different. He may have seem crazy to us but he was a master manipulator putting on his act for his people at that point in time. So what is your act? No need to answer I already know it.

Oregon Randy says:
Unless your a small business employer, you dont understand that even without the public option, that states are setting up exchange programs for people whose employers are either exempt or choose to pay the penalties instead of adding the crippling cost of the new healthcare plans mandated by this law.

My business is small enough to be exempt, but not by a lot and this bill when fully enacted will certainly cause me to drop coverage for my eledgable employees, including myself, and we will all enter the exchange, state run programs.

The potential fines also have caused me to scale back expansion, so as to not be subject to unbearable expense.

This law makes it take longer, but ends up with the government as the prime insurance agent in time.
