Try Kay Hooper, she has a whole series of books about paranormal investigators (psychic, telekenetic, etc. etc.)

Try Victoria Laurie, I'm reading her latest "What a Ghoul Wants" & it's one of her best. She also writes the "Abby Cooper: Psychic Eye", I love both of them, I don't think you'll be dissappointed!

I just finished the "First Confessor" (the legend of Magda Searus) by Terry Goodkind. No need to read his other books first though they are sometimes referred to. Currently reading "Touch of Power" (healer) by Maria Snyder which is excellent so far and I'm halfway through. This was a kindle daily deal fo 99 cents.

Not any witches, by the fallen series by Lauren Kate is good in my opinion. But you know what they say, one man's treasure is someone else's trash

Try Richelle Mead's Succubus series - these books are awesome! Succubus Blues (Georgina Kincaid, Book 1)

Another awesome series (my all time favorite!) is by Kim Harrison - Dead Witch Walking (The Hollows, Book 1)

Jayne Ann Krentz is very good. She has whole series of books from her
'Arcane Society' theme. The arcane society is a group founded in Victorian London for people with paranormal abilities. She writes conteporary fiction as Jayne Ann Krentz, Historical as Amanda Quick, and futurisic stories as Jayne Krentz, also. I am currenly reading her just released book, Dream eyes. Check her out on Amazon.

Karen Moning's Fever series is geat for adult paranormal readers. The story is imaginative and intricate While it does have a few vampires, they are not the main focus.

Have been reading the "A Modern Witch" series and "The Witchlight Series" both by Deborah Geary. I found both series in the Kindle Daily Deal. They are an easy read, light hearted, and filled with love, peace and comedy. Make sure you have plenty of cookies. These books can make you hungry.

For a great read, the entire series by Terri Reid is wonderful. Mary O'Reilly is a former cop who now sees (and sometimes becomes friends with) dead people. The books are not scary at all and Ms. Reid has a gift for continuity. You'll become so involved with her characters, you'll hound her to get the next book written. Start with "Loose Ends" and go through book 9. She just wrote a very short story about one of the main characters which was great, but way too short. She leaves you always anxious for the next book which is a great thing!

AGREE! ! ! ! I met "Abby Cooper" who ~introduced~ me to MJ Holdiay, who I imagine to be like "Tammy Bruce". Now I like MJ better! Althouhg, interestingly, in both series, new characters are usually described as "Beautiful"!, never ordinary or ugly folks, these 2 gals hang out w/ or meet upon! ;-)

I can't agree more. Karen Marie Moning's Fae Fever Series is excellent. I was so thankful that all the books had been released already. I read them all straight through. I couldn't put them down. They were different, exciting, romantic in a dangerous kinda way. I admit I've read all of Karen Moning's books and enjoyed them all. I don't know how I missed these as they came out, but (again) glad I didn't have to wait for the "next one".
