James/Damon,glad it helped! Yes, there are many great codes and resources around the net, that I share here. I'll post more as I see them-please do the same, to help everyone out! Have a good one!

Just a quick reminder:

Amazon UK has a B2G1 BD deal-309 titles. Double Check blurayregioncodes.com to see if your titles are "locked", or if you have a player capable of playing multiple regions, it doesn't matter.

Also, Amazon.fr has a Buy 10 for 150 EUR sale-may work if there are exclusives, have not scrolled through whole list.

Enjoy!

Has anyone been to Frys.com. If you guys want cheap Blu-rays they have a pretty good assortment of Blu-rays for under $15. I have purchased at least 10 titles from Frys and would definitely look at the weekly Friday ads because they have sales there also! Downside is that you have to be close to a Frys.

Hey Beester-welcome to the thread! Yes, other threads too, are buzzing with Fry's deals, especially over the last few weeks. Unfortunately they are not everywhere, but for those near one, they have some great deals in store!

Hi All,

I posted a Ghostbusters coupon here a few days ago. Another coupon has surfaced to bring the BD to $9.99 at Amazon. If you already placed an order, cancel it and place another. In your checkout page, apply coupon SONYPIC 5 and GHOSTBLU. Enjoy!

Wow Digital Babe!!!
You rock!!!!!
Canceled my order from yesterday added the additional promo code, and was able to get a third blu ray which is on special.
Ghost Busters (minus $10 in codes)
Taladega Nights on special for 14.99
John Waynes The Searchers 7.99
whole thing came out to $32

Posted on Jun 9, 2009 7:42:36 AM PDT
Blu Ray sale @ Best Buy T2: Skynet ed. $14.99, HULK Vs. $14.99, Boondock Saints $12.99 and a few as low as $9.99, including the deplorable Thomas Jane's Punisher. Which I say is still to much to pay.

In reply to an earlier post on Jun 9, 2009 7:53:52 AM PDT
Hey W. Powell-thanks for your contribution the thread. I've not yet seen Thomas Jane in the Punisher, but I've heared repeatedly that the War Zone Punisher is better? Good to see B&M stores be more aggressive on BD pricing!

Posted on Jun 9, 2009 8:06:24 AM PDT
Amazon has just stopped selling Ghostbusters Blu-Ray. Only available through indie seller. Just got my pre-order in. Hope you got yours.

In reply to an earlier post on Jun 9, 2009 8:16:11 AM PDT
W. Powell, yeah I got mine in very early this morning. I am sure they got slammed-this is 1st page on Slickdeals, and has been posted on every BD forum. Either they are sold out, or we'll be getting a bunch of "price mistake" e-mails and they'll charge a different price-lets hope not:)

In reply to an earlier post on Jun 9, 2009 8:20:11 AM PDT
@Digital Babe,

IMHO, Punisher War Zone is better but it is much more violent, but I also like the Thomas Jane version. Call it a guilty pleasure (and a Punisher comic fan too)...

Also, I have a question for you. You have the German Steelbook HD DVD version of Terminator 2, am I correct (I thought I remember you saying that)? I also have that and I am curious if the new Skynet version is as good a transfer as that one? I know the German HD DVD only has the extended version but that really doesn't matter too much to me. I was just wondering if you (or anyone else, for that matter) has been able to compare the two and see if the are the same or very close in transfer. I know I wasn't happy with the first blu-ray version which is why I got the German HD one in the first place, just curious to know if the new blu one is as good....

In reply to an earlier post on Jun 9, 2009 8:27:12 AM PDT
Hi Zombie,

I don't have the Skynet ed, though I will receive the skull ed from Amazon de soon, which has the BD with all versions via seamless branching. I've not compared the HD DVD to any BD version. The threads out there contained some commentary from the actual staff that was going to be working on this particular ed. I do remember hearing that there would no new transfer, but I confess I didn't stay subscribed to the thread, as I am a huge Terminator fan, and likely would have purchased the skull or another BD ed, regardless. But if you google "Terminator 2 Skynet new transfer?", you should be able to get started on researching this. Good Luck!

The FDA link does not work, and Snopes said this was announced in '05 and is outdated. Do you have direct govt sources that have announced a "new" recall?

Hi All,

Thanks Eddy-yes,it looks like there was an initial warning and numerous "morphings" on the internet over the years (as it is with most).

As the OP, I am suggesting we get back on track and allow members to verify non-topic info.

James, thanks again for posting-it happens to all of us:)

Inetvideo.com new Blu-Ray arrivals, including some Bond Steelbooks. Futureshop recently had a $9.99 sale on the Steels, but if you missed it or could not get anyone in Canada to help you these prices still beat other B&M's, or online prices. Enjoy!

Ghostbusters is back on Amazon. SONYPIC5 still works, but GHOSTBLU has been
disabled.

In reply to an earlier post on Jun 9, 2009 11:54:16 AM PDT
so do you think it will ship if we used both codes?

In reply to an earlier post on Jun 9, 2009 12:03:10 PM PDT
James, I think it depends what Amazon decides to do. In the past they've canceled some orders and honored others-we just need to stay tuned!

Hi Anime-that stinks about the steels. 2 of our fellow members in our hi-def group, that live in Canada, offered to help me out, and get them from Futureshop. They sold out there, in like a day, during $9.99 sale. Nuts! I hope you get to complete your collection soon!:)
