Hi Rusell,

Thanks for taking the time to share this with us! In addition, remember that live.cashback.com offers an additional % cash back (paid via Paypal). Just sign up, or log in with your hotmail or MSN address at their site. Click "Cashback", look for the list of stores, and then choose "D", and deepdiscount. A little tracking window will pop up and you will be taken to Deepdiscount. After you complete your purchase you should receive an e-mail with your cash back amount. % cashback is paid quarterly. This has been a great little perk for media buyers. Enjoy!

B2G1 Amazon France. Be careful of region coding and some TFI releases have forced subs. Check blurayregioncodes.com to see if certain movies are "locked".

Hi All,

Release news is slow, since it's just after a major US holiday. However, now may be a good time to catch up on past news and sign up for a few discussion forums, yourself to see some more great deals.

We have a great group of 2500 hi-def enthusiasts at http://movies.groups.yahoo.com/group/thebombshelter/. Enter "digital babe", and come say hello! I maintain our deal area and am also a moderator. Fun chats, reviews, movie nites, group buys and more!

Others are avsforum.com, blu-ray.com, bluray.highdefdigest.com, dvdtalk.com, and many others!

Enjoy!

Right now you can get 8% back on Ebay with MS Cashback, but have to use 'Buy it Now'. It might save you a buck or so.

Hi Anime,

Sony, and some other studios sent these out as PDF's during the holidays and myself and co-workers had success using them at any B&T store. I know that "copies" are not accepted, generally, but for PDF's printed at home there should not be an issue. This one is posted in every forum out there, so hopefully it does work, and there is not suddenly some strange exception. Otherwise, there will be many angry people wearing jumpsuits, and trying to put OP's across the web in a ghost strap:) Seriously, I am excited about this one-bring on ZOOL!:)

Hi Peter,

Are you looking for a deal on this film?

You could try http://www.blu-rayboxsets.com/index.php?k=twilight+zone

Or check some auction or overseas sites for sales. Good Luck!

Hi all, OP here--

sendit.com
thehut.com
base.com
hmv.com
zavvi.co.uk

Use quidco.com and click through from the former, to get extra cash back at those sites above.

If you have personal experience with others, please post them, and I will add to my OP, so that others new to the thread can see them.

Info also posted in the "Upcoming Pre-Orders" thread. Feel free to track that discussion as well.

Thanks!

Hi All,
Amazon is having a Sony "Buy More, Save More" promo-prices are in line, with new release pricing, a few weeks after the initial street date, I'd say. Still a good way to save a few bucks on newer releases. Enjoy!

Hi All,
The UK Anthology is released in the UK 6/15 (region B), but like 2/3 of all BD's, are region free. If you're not familiar, BD's are marked with a certain region, but are actually "unlocked". This is a great deal, if you want the whole set. They also sell the separate films, if you don't.

The site below is a great resource if you purchase a lot of hi-def, and would like to import (I am a dual format-HD DVD & BD owner, with 600+ films, and have never had an issue buying BD's from other areas, using the site).

See http://www.blurayregioncodes.com/index.php?region=b to verify that the Batman UK films are region-free.

Prices fluctuate at their site, as they do for all retailers, hence, the YMMV. For me, based on my zip, it would have been approximately $41 shipped.

Here is the direct product link:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Batman-Picture-Anthology-1989-1997-Blu-ray/dp/B001MUK7GY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1244142072&sr=8-1

Use xe.com to translate the approximate cost in US dollars, at the time you place your order. You will likely also be charged a foreign conversion charge, which most if not all credit cards charge, but it is small, and your price will still be significantly less than the US price for the same set.
Enjoy!

Thanks for the code, I took advantage. Glad you posted it because I really didn't want to pay $20 for Ghostbusters, classic catalog title or not.
