Count of Monte Cristo with Jim Caviezel and Guy Pearce....it's just one of those movies I can watch a few times a year - the entire cast was perfect. The DVD transfer was a bit weak, though - so Blu would be a HUGE upgrade.

Are ya listening, Disney???

Also, Notting Hill, which has a great HD DVD transfer (and some beautiful scenery)... no idea why they have not gotten around to a Blu release for this.

That's easy Pulp Fiction. It as well as Jackie Brown come out August 4 2009(Don't know why Amazon does not have it up to order yet). Jackie Brown & I'm also waiting for Fight Club & Lord of the Rings extended editions and Braveheart.

David Lynch films. Takashi Miike films, Akira Kurosawa's Throne of Blood, Apocalypse Now, Alien Quad., Se7en, Fight Club, Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, Suspiria, and Alexandro Jodorowsky films: Santa Sangre, Holy Mountain and El Topo but these will most likely NEVER see the light of day on Blu-Ray in the U.S. but I'm sure imports will pop up and I'll be on it as I have a Region-free player.

J DeGrush: "The Golden Girls"?

The TV Series?

Not knocking it - I'd personally love to see 70's/80's/90's TV shows re-released on Blu....looking back, most of the TV season sets released before about 2006 were pretty pathetic - too many episodes jammed on a disc, low bitrates (often too low for upconversion to actually have enough info to do anything), etc.

'Due South' is one example - you can't watch it on anything larger than a 13" set.....Mad About You (something like 11 episodes crammed on a disc), etc

It's so cliché to say Star Wars because EVERYone is waiting for that one, so I'm going with True Lies. If they take their time and do a really good transfer, I personally think that'll be a must-own for any self-respecting Blu-ray owner.
