Oh, and what would really be cool is if Rhino, Hip-O, or The Shout Factory would gather up the hundreds of early eighties MTV videos and release various artists collections of the many cool one-hit-wonders of the early eighties music genre. Remastered in 1080p, on Blu-Ray so our big TV's that we have today can show these cool song classics, larger than life, again.

I've been waiting for SORCERER in a decent format for a long time. That cheap Pan & Scan DVD edition released in the 90's did no justice to it. I thought 2012 being the 35th anniversary of the film's release, we would see a nice Special Edition Blu-Ray release, maybe even a CRITERION, I guess I was wrong. Nice to know other people are waiting patiently as well.

Sorcerer is an under-rated movie and one of my favorite Roy Scheider flicks. I had it on Beta a few decades ago. I'd also like to see his police drama, The Seven-Ups on blu.
