Hi All,

**Follow my movie deal tweets for Black Friday & all year at http://www.twitter.com/digitalbabedeal

I am the OP of the "UPCOMING & SHARE EXCITEMENT" thread in this forum. I am starting a new one, to disuss BD deals and price reductions/coupons, BOGO sales (CH and others), free shipping deals, etc. There are many threads out there, but it can't hurt to add one here, as many of us shop at Amazon.

Post here to share with fellow members (can be from other forums, your Amazon cart, B&M store visits). Feel free to share your set up info/collection stats, as well. Lets keep each other in the loop!

Keep "Track discussion", to get an e-mail when new deals are posted.

For another great hi-def group, join us at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/thebombshelter/. 2500+ members, contests, movie discussion and more. Enter "digital babe".

Enjoy!

MGM/Fox Blu-ray on Sale at Amazon
Posted in Amazon on March 27th, 2009 by Dave

Some good deals on MGM / Fox titles at Amazon today.

You can save over 57% on the recent The Silence of the Lambs release, which is priced at $14.99 right now.

Jumper, Hitman and Rescue Dawn are all $16.99 at the moment, also saving over 57%.

28 Weeks Later is half off at $14.99.

The James Bond collectors sets are only $49.99, which is just over $16 per title - this includes the new James Bond Blu-ray Collection Vol. 3 as well as the original James Bond Blu-ray Collection Vol. 1 and James Bond Blu-ray Collection Vol.2.

I only saw the Bond blu-rays that came out last week at that price (except for Quantum). Still a great deal, but I was hoping to pick up 'Die Another Day'. I was able to use the $5.00 voucher that came with my Quatum blu-ray and only paid $9.99 for 'The World is Not Enough'.

Hi J, thanks for the tip!

Saw this posted over at the High Definition Digest. (Note: It's last years model given the newer machines are showing up.)

Check out the Target Ad here.

Target stores lower BD-Live capable Blu-ray player to $225 with $14.99 Bond movies

Target just placed an ad in local circulars in most US markets that included a new stock of Samsung BDP1500 BD-Live capable players for $249 with an instant $25 gift card, for net price of $225.

Notable as this is the best price since the holiday season in local circular print advertising, and its effectively $25 below 4Q 2008 prices for BD-Live capable players.

Also included were ads for many Bond Blu-ray movies including Quantum of Solace for $ 24.99 and others for $14.99. Could entice some Bond fans to buy a Blu-ray player.

Amazon Buy more, save more-please note, per another forum, prices were $19/disc hours ago, allowing you to pick up movies, for under $10, after the discount. Unfortunately prices were all raised now. I am posting so you can act quicker next time-Disney titles.

Target is scheduled to have a BOGO on select titles on April 5-11. Still not confirmed, but apparently someone at blu-ray.com has seen the ad.

Buy one get one free on select titles. Titles included in the sale are: Iron Man, Eagle Eye, Transformers, Body of Lies, Transporter 3, Madagascar 2, Kung Fu Panda, Wall-E, Prince Caspian, Tropic Thunder, Indiana Jones, Punisher War Zone and Bangkok Dangerous. All titles are $29.99.

Some of these have been equal, or cheaper at Amazon, Columbia House, etc, but some were not included in those sales, so it may be worth it, if you're at Target or want to take a trip, for instant BD buys. Enjoy!

Warnerbros.com has a B2G1 BD sale. Code: WEEEKEND-Came out to about $14 for pre-orders etc. Ebates.com (like Fatwallet), is a cashback site, which has Warnerbros listed for 4% additional cash back. I've been using that site for years, and just placed my WB order by clicking through from Ebates.com. I am not sure if it will credit the 4% but it was worth the shot. Enjoy!

I live in the U.S. but have found Amazon.uk to have some good deals on Blu Ray. B2G1 they have 294 titles and don't appear to have been marked up before the sale. Have to check http://www.blurayregioncodes.com/ to make sure they are region free but the shipping is reasonable and fast if you buy 3. (Some Bonus content may be in PAL and won't play) Also, Stomp2.com has Casablanca for $25.99US shipped! I have it and it appears to be the first disc of the boxset offered in the US.(Lots of bonus content) All bonus content plays fine on my PS3.

Hi Jeff C-yes, great deals-picked up many from that sale over the last few months. And the titles rotate-check back everyone!:) Sometimes special features in PAL will not play-check the blurayregioncodes.com site to see if there are any notes on the particular title of interest.
