What recordings that John Mayall either produced or played on as a "guest " performer do you really like?

My favorite Mayall produced album is "The Lost Session" by Albert King with Mayall on keyboards.

My favorite album that Mayall guests on is Sonny & Brownie" by Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee.

Raw Blues, a mid 60's UK Decca compilation that featured a lot of Mayall, Clapton, Peter Green, Otis Spann, Jack Dupree, and others. Great stuff.

Don says:
I'm not that familiar with what Mayall produced, and as for as appearing on part of an album, Raw Blues had a lot of tracks I really like (Pretty Girls Everywhere, Bernard Jenkins and Milkman Strut come to mind), but I understand he did a few cuts with Paul Butterfield and I'd really like to hear that. As for a lot of us, these were two of my early introductions to the Blues.

You can hear the cuts with Paul Butterfield on the extended version of the 'A Hard Road' cd. They are included as bonus tracks.
