You got the biggies. On a more obscure level, I like the G&L Broadcaster (L is for Leo Fender), a direct copy of Leo's original Fender (Broadcaster) which became the Telecaster after threat of a lawsuit from the Gretsch family because they held the trademark or copyright on "Broadcaster" (drumset); the Gretsch Country Gentleman (played by Mr. Robert Jr. Lockwood); Magic Sam's hollow body Epiphone - probably an Epiphone Sheriton - similar to a 335; the Gibson ES-345 and 355 (B.B. King); and 60's vintage solid body St. George (for slide); and, the Gibson Flying V ala Albert King and Lonnie Mack.

However this shakes out, "Honorable Mention" should go to the classic electrified Gibson B-25 acoustic guitar played by Jim Schwall, of the Seigal-Schwall Blues Band. I know Mike Bloomfield would have agreed.

I agree those are standards...I like the use of unusual guitars for blues because sometimes your tone comes more from the amp.

Glen Kaiser used an Ibanez of some type on a few albums...

Hi Joshua. I agree with your post. With a good Vibrolux Reverb, Pro Reverb or Super Reverb, one would have a great tone coming more from the amp.

How about a Heritage H-535 with HRW pickups and Tone-Pros bridge and tail-piece?
