I really enjoyed "The Fogotten Garden" and "The House at Riverton". Anyone else looking forward to her new release in November?

I cannot wait. She's an amazing storyteller and the two previous books were stunning. So poignant, moving, and suspenseful.

Yes indeed!! I am counting the days and will, for once, pay full price
on Kate Morton's new book - November 9th, I will be at the bookstore.
I adored her first two and have great hopes for this third one. Can't
understand readers who say they were "O.K." She is quite simply
a great writer, and certainly writes my type of book. Enjoy!

^ I love your name. :) It reminded me that I read Kate's first two books in only two sittings apiece and was a sleep-deprived zombie when I finished. She writes the kinds of books that stay with you. I found myself thinking of her characters long after I finished the book. It's a rare author who can do that.

I am first in the online reserve queue at my local library for the new book, but I know the temptation to buy it as soon as it's released will be too hard for me to resist. :)

Like Bookworm I am also first in line at my library for The Distant Hours and have had it on my wish list since before it had an image to go with the title, seems like she made us wait really long for this one. I love her books and hope there will be many more. I'm also eagerly awaiting for Setterfield (The Thirteenth Tale) to release another book. I guess you always have to wait for the good stuff!

POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT!!! I just finished The Distant Hours. Question: Whose baby did Juniper deliver the night she was on her way home to meet her love and announce the engagement? I tried to find out who it was by searching chapter after chapter of the book and still cannot figure it out. Did I miss something? This is driving me crazy. Help:)
