Recall this as a Little Golden Book but it well may not have been. A favorite as a child, I recall it being about a hedgehog/porcupine family getting ready for Christmas. Could have been some other animal like groundhogs or bears (really don't think it was bears, tho). Gilt highlights & page borders. Paper pages, not a board book. Internet searches not productive. Thought author might have been Amye Rosenberg...found something similar by her a while back (no longer on internet) but it had no gilt in illustrations. Info anyone?
