Evertaster, by Adam Sidwell - just barely out. I read it and loved it and it's already doing great on the top 100 best selling Amazon books.

Collin,

This is the third thread where I've seen you recommending this book today. As you usually don't see readers recommending books in this manner, are you a relative or friend of the author? Experience has shown us that biased recommendations are usually not reliable. If you're a relative it's against Amazon's TOS.

Hi Becky. Self-promotion is not allowed on any of the customer fora. The ONLY place where an author can promote their book is on the Meet Our Author forum:
http://www.amazon.com/forum/meet%20our%20authors/ref=cm_cd_topf_t?_encoding=UTF8&cdForum=Fx2UYC1FC06SU8S

It would be nice to have you continue to post here (minus the self-promo) because you may have some good book recs.

The second time you rec the book in the same forum, I call you disingenuous and note you must have a relationship with the book/author you have not told us about.

The author of this book is "Linda Angelo". Unfortunately for indie authors, recs from family and friends do not hold the same value of those from independent and unrelated readers.

Good luck with the book.

Did you not see the posts directly above yours? You can't promote your own book on Amazon discussions in any forum other than Meet Our Authors. It is a condition *Amazon* has placed on authors.

How about the Adventures of Katie Buubles series? Fast paced, funny, and a vocabulary building section at the back.....kids seem to love it!

Do ANY of you self-pubbed authors/friends/family ACTUALLY read Amazon Terms of Service? If you have any sort of financial interest in a book, then you cannot promote the book here. People here are parents/grandparents/teachers, looking for legit book recommendations. A book that came out recently doesn't have the type of recs that any of us "readers or family members" are looking for. We are looking for books that have an actual TRACK RECORD with kids. Most of the spam recs are from authors who just put out a book. How do any of these books have a history with kids; or enough of a history to recommend them.

Please stop. The door to door salesperson tactics aren't attractive. Many of us have nicely pointed out the right place to advert. your works, but for some reason there is a belief that spamming a forum is attractive to customers/readers. It simply IS NOT.
