Mac Powell definitely has the most incredible voice on the planet! He can REALLY belt it out
& he sings with such passion & emotion. He's also an AWESOME front man for THIRD DAY,
the best band in the land. I've seen them in concert twice & they are amazing! Mac's songs have really touched my soul.

Has anyone here even heard the new Decyfer Down album, Crash? T.J. Harris puts every vocalist mentioned on this page to shame for sheer power, range timbre, technique and endurance. And what's all this Mac Powell stuff? He's a poor man's Eddie Vedder at best! I don't think I'd even call Third Day rock, at least not since Conspiracy No. 5. All their recent stuff is like contemporary country.

Matt, The guy from decifer Down has a DECENT voice, but he sounds like a lot of other singers out there.

Mac Powell's voice is unique & he is DEFINITELY more vocally gifted than Eddie Vedder!

As far as rock music goes, it's all a matter of personal taste. Have you listened to Third Day's Revelation? I certainly wouldn't call it contemporary country.
