The evidence supports the big bang theory.
Here's my question. Maybe you science-savvy people can help me here. If spacetime were wrapped in a miniscule speck with unimaginable mass, where did that speck come from?
Wouldn't that evoke the idea of an infinite regress? I personally think there has always been something, but I don't think it was some kind of consciousness.
I think the material world has always existed, but that begs the question of what we can know - the study of epistemology. I can't prove anything one way or another.
I'm interested in what you science-minded people have to say on the subject. Is there more than one spacetime? Again, that evokes the epistemological quesion.
I'm anxious to hear some opinions from those of you who know more about science than I do.
