You are one confused Jose.......God is God.....there's only one.

(WRONG!!! Your in denial how come the Mormons,Jews,Muslims and Jehovah Witness have DIFFERENT holy books about this God you say is the same??? What about the various names? for the jews it's "YAHWEH" for the christians it's "JEHOVAH" and for the muslims it's "ALLAH" and when you read their doctrine and learn about there faith it's very CLEAR they are not all worshipping the same God at all.The God of the Christians is a Trinity God which the Jews,Muslims and Jehovah Witness reject the Mormons I'm not sure about that but I do know that they believe Satan and Jesus are related "brothers" while the Jehovah Witness beleive Jesus is the Arch-Angel Micheal none of these beliefs are accepted by Christians,Muslims or Jews I could go on about the DIFFERENCES between these religons which is more than enough proof too show you that they are NOT worshipping nor do they believe in the same God.)

The Mormons & JW's (by the way, they're cults) worship the one God......

(Yes I know they are just like Christianity is so don't forget to include your religon don't be a hypocrite if your gonna call them out as cults make sure you include Christianity. The Jehovah Witness do not worship your Trinity,Half-Man,Half-God Deity known as "Jehovah" and the Mormons as I said before I don't remember if they accept the chrsitian trinity belief or the God-Jesus Deity combination. But I know for a fact that Christians TOTALLY reject both doctrines Mormon and Witness so it's quite obvious they are NOT worshipping your God especially since there Doctrine is at odds with the New Testament so of course your Jehovah would NOT accept it as his word as they claim)

but like I said before, they have different beliefs regarding Jesus Christ, The Trinity & who goes to heaven......among other things! You sound like a person who is very angry about something

(And they also have different beliefs about God,Heaven,Hell how we got here and where we are going you sound just like a disgruntled cult member who is trying very hard to discredit my posts but doing a VERY poor job.I'm not angry just totally disgusted with the Christian religon and any other religon that portrtays our loving creator negatively and ignorantly)

One night God came down and spoke to me in Chinese. I didn't understand a thing he said, but I did order a #9 with egg rolls and hot and sour soup.

FRIEND OF GOD

Of course I do but the difference is my consequences don't result in there death or severe punishment which may or may not inflict pain and suffering but this is EXACTLY what your God does in the bible to his children when they disobey right??? So you can't compare how I DISCIPLINE my children with how your God disciplines his children because my way is much more humane!!

FRIEND OF GOD

Wrong!!! Maybe your Jehovah does but what he says, wants, desires or demands does not apply to me as a non-believer and for your information you are religous if your a christian and you pray, worship, fellowship, repent, obey, read scripture and submit your life to christ these are religous practices.

FRIEND OF GOD

Which God?? "Yawheh" or "Jehovah" I have and do experience God on a daily basis just not the God of your New Testament see I'm not a christian so I do not follow, believe nor do I accept your God.I no longer read the bible anymore because it has no purpose in my life like it once did when I was a chrsitian from 94-01 my life path is strictly SPIRITUAL and has no room or need for any ancient scriptuer with barbaric, archaic, absurd beliefs that only apply to people of the Bronze Age.

FRIEND OF GOD

WRONG!!!! God does not intefere in our personal lives like that because no one is lost and there is no need for anyone to be drawn to him we are all one with him in spirit and can never be seperated. We don't have to choose God this is not what life is about God is not a religion he never created these concepts that christianity, mormons, jews, jehovahs, muslims follow in there belief system they were all created by man. There is no truth to acccept or reject from God because he leaves that up to us on what we want to believe or not in this world in our life, religion has created all of this and stamped GODs name on it as if he approved it!! Well he didn't God doesn't need christians to be his spokeperson for all humanity if he had something to say that we needed to hear he is quite capable of doing that on his own without any help from you guys. And according to your bible he is portrayed as being VERY forcefull when his will is not obeyed so why do you keep ignoring this?? It's all there in black and white trust me I have read the bible I know what it says.

How can you ask me that when many of you are not even educated about the word yourselves I'm an x-christian so I'm very knowledged about the ways of christianity and it's scripture reading the bible and understanding it is very difficult for christians which is why you have so many different christian denominations interpreting it as well as different books from which they read.I have read and understand the bible well enough to know what's really going on so much so that I even studied it's TRUE origins after which I decided I did NOT want to be a part of the faith anymore it no longer held any truth for me after I discoverd so many lies.

YOG-SOTHOTH

"WRONG" That is not what I MEANT so stop trying to manipulate this so that it validates your belief.I am referring to prayers that were NOT given a YES!!!!!! No chrsitian prays for a "NO" answer to there petition, request they all are hoping for a "YES" answer so let's make that clear okay??? So my comment still stands he does not answer all prayers in the manner that christians desire which is with a YES response!!

YOG-SOTHOTH

God does not treat his creation as children that need punishment when they do wrong we don't accept nor do we recieve any punishment from God no matter what we do as God has not given us any rules too follow only religion has with it's aburd biblical laws and commands created by ancient preists/prophets and the laws of society created by man

Are you blind?? or do you have trouble reading english??? I never said Mormons,Jews and JW's do not worship God any moron knows that all bible based religions worship some form of God so how about getting your facts straight and right okay??????????? And your so wrong just like many of your christian brothers and sisters The God of the Old Testament is NOT the same God of your New Testament.First of all the Jews do not call there book Old Testament Christians call it that seeing as how it's a christianised version of the Torah which all Jews of Judaism"REJECT".The God of Isreal "YAWHEH" is of the Torah and the God of the Christians "JEHOVAH" is of the New Testament your God is a trinity God who is half-man/half-god "JESUS CHRIST" this is not the case with Judaisms "YAWHEH" he is not a 3 in 1 being comprised of the Father,Son,Holy Ghost this is a christian belief not accepted in Judaism or there holy scripture.Yahweh did not give birth to himself to become his own son (how absurd) Jehovah did Yawheh doesn't have any enemies but Jehovah does his number one enemy is satan this is not the case with the God of Isreal. So as usual you people have no real knowledge about your faith especially judaism which is why your religon is so divided with yourr many different christian denominations and holy books "Protestant,Catholic,KJV,NIV,NSV,NWT etc.............

My guess is that these posters have either read the prayer study or have at least heard of it; they simply ignore it, possibly with their fingers in their ears going la-la-lal-la. I wish I knew their thought processes when they tell somebody that they know is an atheist that they will pray for for the atheist. Is it an insult, is it a threat? If they are in fact praying for me, I don't care that they are; it is their time that they are wasting.

Do you ever give your kids a consequence when they don't listen? I know that in life when you do something wrong there are consequences. we are supposed to guide them in the way they should go not leave them to themselves. too many parents let their kids run wild and look how they end up. It is sad. I didn't say you have to follow the way I do. I am not forcing anything on anyone..as I said we are in different places.

Bubba,

I guess these posters have not read the prayer study that was conducted a few years ago on the hospital patients. The correlation between prayer and those who were prayed for in terms of recovery was less than 1%. I seem to remember it was actually .001%. The effectiveness of prayer is less than 1%. Anyway, they can knock themselves out. I doubt they will. Most are full of platitudes and verbiage that comes forth from the mouth as flowing as water comes from a faucet.

God gives us choices, good or evil. Even in this world we have many choices and weather we realize it or not every choice we make can have a consequence and it can affect someone in a positive or negative way. Hell was not created for mankind but for satan and the fallen angels, man chooses where He will end up. I am not religious nor do I want to be. When people get religious they only see one way, and argue and fight and tare others down there is no honor in that. We should honor others and treat them with love. We are all at different places in our walks with Him. I probably know things you don't, and you probably know things that I don't we are supposed to work together as a body not rip each other to shreds and I am not going to do that, I see too much of that on here. Where is L-O-V-E? We are Gentiles from my understanding.

You are amazing and I am sorry that you have not experienced the most amazing wonderful God like I have. I can see we are at different levels. That's okay. It is okay to be different, that is how He made us. I don't want to get caught up in a scripture battle which is what I see on this feed. I believe that grieves His heart. We are all His creation and He loves us deeply. The last thing He wants is for us to judge each other and tare each other apart satan does enough of that. When you read your Bible whatever version it is, ask Him to show you who He says you are. You will find out how amazing we are. and all the wonderful things He has bestowed on you. You are truly amazing your life is a gift.

I believe that when you pray for someone that is lost that God does draw them but ultimately it is still up to that person to choose, God will not force His will on anyone and it is God's will that none parish. so He will bring people, lead them to those that are lost so they can hear the truth and decide to receive or reject it. He is not at all forceful.

CHR, if I ask you a question and you answer it with a "no", did you still answer the question? He answers all prayers with the right answer at the right time. And He loves everyone, but why would He bless those that have no gratitude for all He's done. He gives us all the option of salvation and eternal life, but we make our own decisions. Please educate yourself on the Word, its one thing to read the bible, and another to understand it. God bless. :-D
