Relevance?

I know you'd like to portray this is a 'spiritual truth' that some are simply not equipped to understand, Nixon, but it isn't. You and Ron are making claims of _empirical fact_; you have to support them with empirical evidence, or your claims are worthless.

Cool mind-reading helmet, bro. Hope you got a warranty.

WHEN will you learn that your belief in Jesus doesn't give you the power to read others' minds, Nixon?

You don't need to tell me about conservative Christians in NC, lived there most of my life, I had hoped based the polls I was seeing in Jan, and what I was still seeing reported, apparently by a media that had a bias. that some people had grown up. But like science we will have to wait for the old guard to die off for a paradigm shift.

Yes, you were incorrect. Any time you tell someone else what -they- think or believe, you'll always be incorrect.

Re Allan, 6-26 11:16 PM: I trust that you are speaking tongue in cheek, as this is a classic example of circular reasoning.

I am not sure that that there will ever be a paradigm shift in NC and several other Southern states. The targets change, but the bigotry is constant, and has been since before the Civil War..

be prepared for a poster by the name of celsus to call you on what you have written here and to advise you that you are employing circular reasoning.

Allan: Celsus knows exactly where I was coming from.

He would not make that mistake. Rather, I think he would congratulate me on my effort ;-) ).

"Let us praise God. Oh Lord, oooh you are so big. So absolutely huge. Gosh, we're all really impressed down here I can tell you. Forgive us, O Lord, for this dreadful toadying and barefaced flattery. But you are so strong and, well, just so super. Fantastic. Amen."

Bubba there are a lot of relocated Northerners in NC and more coming, the City of Cary is often referred to as Containment Area for Relocated Yankees. I am a relocated Yankee myself, born in Mt, family hails from PA and WV ended up in NC courtesy of USAF. While I love Southern Cooking, best cuisine in America (and yes Cajun/Creole is part of Southern) there are parts of Southern Culture that are pathological.
