AJQ: lame. You got time to talk scripture, or you gotta run to another class? Its the weekend by the way.

Allan: And the teams I coach had a terrific time this weekend. That and my volunteer work with the senior team took up most of Saturday.

You are one sick man.

AJQ: Why because I make time to discuss God's Word why you seem to cant sit still on the matter.

Cheri says: The Jews need saving as much as we Gentiles. All are in need of His saving grace.

Allan: Looks like you haven't even opened your Tanakh yet.

Time you did.

AJQ: why Allan? You wish us to go through 2000 years of being scattered? We're good. Will simply wait until our change comes.

Allan says:
AJQ: Which further proves Allan knows nothing about scripture in the Bible or God.

Allan: Once again I call your bluff, ajq.

Prove it (I'm sitting on a royal flush).

AJQ: flushed is right. See Jeremiah 23:5-6 concerning the Messiah who is called THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS. Also see Isaiah 9:6-8, your flush just folded! Its right there in the Tanach Allan, time you take the wrapping off of yours and start to read. Seems you have time to read every other book but the Bible.

T. D. Mills says:
Unless they first chose Jesus, they can't get to God.

AJQ: Agreed!

Lois says:
They are already with God.

AJQ: thats just nonsense Lois. OT scripture alone tells you there not. Having no Temple tells you the same. God has not called them all back yet, they are not with Him.

In reply to an earlier post on May 20, 2012 2:44:40 AM PDT
ajqueen says:
Lois says:
Why?

Why can I not feel the depths of regret for missing the mark?
Why can I not go to whomever I have wronged and ask forgiveness?
Why can I not make retribution in whatever way I can for my sin?
Why can I not go the my Father, God, and ask for forgiveness as well?

Why would not my Father, God, extend His grace and mercy on me, if He found my repentance sincere?

AJQ: Because sins separate us from God and He says He will not hear. Only through the blood of Jesus is their reconciliation between God and man. We must accept the price He had to pay to redeem mankind, and we must accept Jesus the righteousness of God as Lord. Only Satan, and folks he deceives will not AND CANNOT confess Jesus as Lord. Although at the very end, Satan will indeed confess that Jesus the Lord!

TDM: "This is what I mean: the law which came 430 years afterwards does not annul a covenant previously ratified by God, so as to make the promise void. For if the inheritance comes by the law, it no longer comes by promise; but God gave it to Abraham by a promise. When then the law? It was added because of transgressions, until the offspring should come to whom the promise had been made and it was put in place through angels by an intermediary.

Allan: Where did you steal THIS one from, TDM?

AJQ: Its right there in the scripture in Galatians 3:15-25. You should really take a little time to ponder this. Its common sense! God gave the promise to Abraham by faith. The law which came so many years later cannot annul God's promise to Abraham that in his seed all nations of the world shall be blessed.

Allan says:
''The Jews failed the tests of faith and obedience.''

Does anyone other than your mercenary minders say this, TDM?

AJQ: Yeah God, try reading your Tanach.

T. D. Mills says:
I am not anti-Semitic at all. I am quoting the Bible, facts are facts Lois. My Savior is a Jew and I love and pray for the Jewish people but they like any people are not perfect and are in need of a Savior.

AJQ: Amen!

Allan says:
T. D. Mills says: Amen! The reason the Jews are at odds with God is because they refused to let the Messiah's death pay for their sins so He could save them.

Allan: My neck is getting sore with all the head-shaking I am doing, right to left and back.

The Jews understand their Bible, they know their G-d's word, which is why they know Yehoshua was not their messiah.

So would you, if you were not blinded by whatever it is that possesses you.

AJQ: You yourself said the New Covenant came to the Jews over 2000 years ago. If so Allan, then where is the promised Messiah who brings this New Covenant? Why is Jeremiah 31:31-34 not fulfilled Einstein?

ajqueen says: Me too B. Nixon! Im thankful for the message brought forth through Paul concerning Christ Our Lord.

Allan: NOW we're getting closer to the truth.

Again the RCC Paul over Jesus.

AJQ: No, thats your truth, and your hang up, not mine.

ajqueen says: Amen B. Nixon, the world cannot accept the Spirit of Truth.

Allan: People like you make it exceeding difficult to do so.

AJQ: Try reading the Tanach Allan. Its your own evil heart that makes it exceedingly difficult to do so.

T. D. Mills says:
Are you to lazy to read it for yourself?

AJQ: Yes, he is. And He knows he cannot understand it unless someone tells him even though the angel is right there explaining these things.

T. D. Mills says: Are you to lazy to read it for yourself?

Allan: I did.

Which is why I want to know who concocted the garbage you and your buddy spewed.

Where, when, and what was this battle?

You haven't a clue, neither of you.

AJQ: It is a spiritual battle Allan. A warfare between an angel of God and one of Satan minions trying to keep God's message from getting back to Daniel. Its Spiritual warfare. Mankind is not the only one ruling on the earth. There are angels who war for Israel and also of us, and there are demons who move kings and princes to war and chaos. Michael is an arch angel and He is a protector of Israel.

Allan, James, Peter, and John speaks quite plainly about the faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. Clearly their faith was in the man Christ Jesus.

AJQ: The Romans would have had no power over Him had He not been handed over to them.

Allan: You really haven't a clue, have you.

The Romans RULED the country, they had a network of spies including cooperative Jews.

NOTHING which affected them would have been hidden.

But it wasn't, was it.

Yehoshua, according to the gospels, was welcomed by the Jews as their putative Davidic king.

What more did the ruling Romans need?

Sorry, sunshine.

Your messiah is not, never will be, the one the Jews were promised and are still waiting for.

I'll take the pot.

''Its common sense!''

The problem with common sense, ajq, is that it isn't.

''the law which came 430 years afterwards does not annul a covenant previously ratified by God''

Where can I find that in Galatians, please?

AJQ: You yourself said the New Covenant came to the Jews over 2000 years ago. If so Allan, then where is the promised Messiah who brings this New Covenant? Why is Jeremiah 31:31-34 not fulfilled Einstein?

Allan: I'll let you Literalists sort this one out.

It's something you need to solve, not this atheist.

BTW WHAT promised messiah?

Jeremiah 31:31-34
New International Version (NIV)
31 "The days are coming," declares the Lord,
"when I will make a new covenant
with the people of Israel
and with the people of Judah.
32 It will not be like the covenant
I made with their ancestors
when I took them by the hand
to lead them out of Egypt,
because they broke my covenant,
though I was a husband to[a] them,[b]"
declares the Lord.
33 "This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel
after that time," declares the Lord.
"I will put my law in their minds
and write it on their hearts.
I will be their God,
and they will be my people.
34 No longer will they teach their neighbor,
or say to one another, `Know the Lord,'
because they will all know me,
from the least of them to the greatest,"
declares the Lord.
"For I will forgive their wickedness
and will remember their sins no more."
