I wonder how it felt when they realized they had been enemies all this time, and now stood shoulder to shoulder. I wonder also, how long the hatchet was buried after that. Or was it a very momentary lapse of enmity simply in their sorrow which robbed them of the energy to continue the fight for only a time.
I wonder what would have happened if they had st down on that occasion and talked, or maybe they did?
