In honor of all of the posters who have so diligently
participated in this discussion.....in Parts I and II

We now invite everyone to continue to speak in:

"Was the Virgin Mary sinless or not? Part III"

Lucifer says:
>>Was Mary sinless or not?<<

Mary said so, and Joseph believed her.
So should we. End of discussion.
It is not kind, true, or necessary, to pry into a maiden's past.

Barbara, you kind of jumped the gun.

Barbara, I would really like this thread to end if you would be so kind...

I agree with you, but I've already given up hope. Apparently there's a certain core group of Catholics and Protestants that need someplace to spend their days mudwrestling with each other.

Just Karen says:
Mary didn't say so. I mean, she didn't say that she was without sin, and she didn't actually call herself a sinner, but she needed a savior, and there is nothing to indicate that she was immaculately conceived. She was not sinless, and she was only a virgin until the birth of Christ.

How many of these #3 threads are there going to be?

1 for Roman Catholics, one for nons, or what?

Raulito says:
Karen,

"..and she didn't actually call herself a sinner, but she needed a savior..."

So, you would be out of line and out of Scripture authority to call her a sinner. Right?

In reply to an earlier post on Feb 10, 2012 5:01:48 PM PST
Raulito says:
Karen,

Once again, Mary did not welcome-accept Christ coming to her womb? Or, was she a robot, or some type of brick?

You had admitted sometime ago that Mary collaborated-cooperated with God's plan of salvation, as she accepted and welcomed Christ's coming to her.

Why did you change your mind?

Kevin,

Lew asked me to make sure you see this web site, which accuses Luther of being a "Mary Worshipper" and a heretic:

http://www.jesus-is-savior.com/False%20Religions/Lutherans/luther-on_mary.htm

Enjoy....

Raulito says:
Barbara,

If you pray for the conversion of sinners, and Christ uses your prayers to bring others to Him, are you in any way cooperating-collaborating with God's plan of salvation?

Its a simple question Karen can't answer.

New heights in nitpicking.

Oh, what a can of wurms -- er, worms -- Herr Doktor Luther did open. . .

Bohemian Man says:
LOL!
I've been locked out for asking a question.

If the answer is so easy that a child would know it, please pass it on to this nonbeliever who doesn't know the answer.

I don't have the benefit of a Catholic parent to inform me.

Bohemian Man says:
My bad.

I just found out EVERYBODY had been locked out.

As Rick Perry would say, "oops"

BM: If you will repost your questions, I will attempt to answer them. There were 3, I believe, and one was something about eating meat on Friday. But, I can't remember the specific questions. I just remember that when I read them, they demonstrated very typical misunderstandings.

I'm glad you now realize that you weren't locked out for asking a question. You were locked out for asking THREE questions......kidding.

Karen, yes, as God saved Elijah from death, so too did God save His mother from sin to be His Worthy dwelling place, as God was also very specific about how His Chosen dwelling place of old was to be designed, as it was to contain His law, (Exodus 25), all the More His Mother, as she was to contain the Author of the Law, for He Who is Mighty, has done to HER, Mighty THINGS, and of Jesus born of Mary, "Who can bring a clean thing from an unclean thing.". (Job 14:4). Peace always in the Most Precious Blood of Jesus our Great God and Saviour

Karen, also, Jesus affirms, "If you wish to enter into Life, then keep the commandments", (Matthew 19:17, Romans 6:13), for not just repentance, (Luke 13;5), but also obedience shall allow us to inherit the Heaven that Jesus has purchased for us all by His Most Precious Blood,

In reply to an earlier post on Feb 10, 2012 8:19:30 PM PST
Just Karen says:
No, I said that because she was obedient, she said "Let His will be done to me." This was after the Angel told Mary what was going to happen. I never said that she was part of Salvation, and I never changed my mind.

In reply to an earlier post on Feb 10, 2012 8:20:22 PM PST
Just Karen says:
No, why? She didn't say that she was without sin, and I didn't say that, did I?

In reply to an earlier post on Feb 10, 2012 8:29:19 PM PST
Just Karen says:
Not that Karen can't answer. I have answered this about three or four times (you have asked it at least that many times, though you get a free pass from Lily since you are Catholic). When I do answer, you do the same thing you always do, change the meaning or switch it around to make it sound like I said what I really didn't say.

Just as there seems to be a core group of anti-Christian zealots who "need" to spend their days and nights reading our posts and attempting to "demonstrate" their perceived moral and intellectual "superiority" over us by jumping right into the middle of the muddle.
