Was there anything in particular you were trying to achieve?

I don't know. It seems to me. My personal opinion. It seems that some christians and christianity as a whole seems to get some perverse thrill out of people groveling on their knees or "humbling" themselves before some imaginary being that is a pure concocted delusion of the mind. Maybe the perverse thrill of controlling other people with this imaginary being. I don't know. It is strange indeed.

This lord man will lift you up where? Are you talking about a brain high such as the release of endorphins? Lift you up in a high similar to a drug?

Christians are so full of vague statements that they just throw out there. Vagueness just does not cut it where I work. Details and evidence is required for me to accept something as possibly valid.

Blair White says:
Perhaps you don't quite understand what it means to be humble in a religious context. Humble is not degrading one's self, or as you state "groveling on their knees." This link provides some various insights on humility, of which humble is an adverb. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Humility
It surprises me someone with the name "Scientific Mind" would take a crass shot at the meaning of this word. I thought a scientific mind asked serious questions of that which they were considering by first discovering what can be known subject.

Hmm..... interesting definition you cite Blair.

From that source I find:

>>The act of imposing humility upon another person is called "humiliation".<<
