Michael Snyder:

"He predicted 9/11 two years in advance.

He predicted the coming of the AIDS epidemic two years before it hit.

He predicted both Iraq Wars two years before the first one even began.

Do you have some documentation that these prophecies were made before the events in question? Do you have a record of all prophecies he has made to confirm how many have come true? Do you have valid documentation that the alleged AIDS healings actually happened as described (not to mention those "raised from the dead")?

When someone claims to be able to do such amazing things, I'm afraid I need more evidence than someone making fantastic claims on his behalf, a video clip of him preaching, and a paranoid-sounding website.

T. Hyyppa says:
Michael Snyder, Here is the Bible standards to test any prophet. Praise the Lord you seek the Truth, but no matter what comes true, we must evaluate by all Bible standards, just not true fullfilled prophecies. Amen

Prophets do not test the Word of God, the Word of God test the Prophets. And I am sure you would agree.

I would pray He is. Amen

1 Cor 13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity [Love], I am nothing.

Samuel 9:9 - Come, and let us go to the seer: for he that is now called a Prophet was beforetime called a Seer.

Paul compared the church to a body. The gifts function in the church just as do the ears, eyes, nose and mouth, in our body. (1 Cor 12:12-28) The Prophets are the "see-ers, or the eyes of the church .

The Bible states that the last days church would again have the spirit of prophecy restored. [Have Prophets of old]

Rev 12:17 Which keep the Commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus! - Revelation 19:10 For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

The early church had all `5' offices "Which "one" was the "office of the prophet" {Eph 4:11} {1 Cor 12:28}

all five are need to perform God's Work today. Amen

Eph 4:11 And he gave some, apostles [missionaries]; and some, prophets;[seers] and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

HAS THIS HAPPENED TODAY? Are we perfect in Christ to His fulness. No!

A prophet of the Lord is a spokesman for God. Ex 7:1,4:15-16

The Spirit from the Father and Christ speaks through the prophets. 1 peter 1:10-11, 2 Pet 1:20-21, Heb 1:1

**Biblical physical tests of a true prophet**.

Will have visions. Num 12:6
In vision lose their strength. Dan 10:8
Strengthened by the angel. Dan 10:18
No breath in them during the Visions. Dan 10:17<<<<<< Ask Tom if he has no breath during visions
Dumb. Dan 10:15
Lips touched by angel. Dan 10:16
Speak without breath. Dan 10:16 <<<<<<<
God's Words in their mouth. Jer 1:9
God controls their tongue. 2 Sam 23:2
Eyes open in vision. [no blinking] Num 24:16 <<<<<< Ask Tom if he blinks during the Visions!
Cannot reverse the words. Num 23:20
Unconsciousness of surroundings. 2 Cor 12:2-4

Visions are given in presence of witnesses, who bear testimony to the fulfillment of the tests. Dan 10:7; Acts 9:7-9

ASk Tom for His witnesses to claim the Following Bible qualifications! for it has nothing to do with prophecy which comes true, The Signs must be present to these Standards. He must have eye Witness to these Bible qualifications. Amen

Tammy says:
I agree that prophets should be tested, so I did. I can't attest to the 9/11 or Aids prophecies, I wasn't there.

but I was in stockton in June of 06 when He said to sell your homes, sell everything of value while you still can get some money for it. At the time our house had just been put on the market for 425,000. It sold for 325,000 in the last month that houses in our area sold for much at all.

6 weeks after we closed it lost another 100,000 in value and as of Dec 08 is valued at less than our construction cost 12 years earlier. Glad we were out! Ours is just one house, what caught my attention was a national news report that I saw in Oregon listing Stockton CA as the forclosure capital of the nation. I checked the real estate valuation chart for a couple neighborhoods in stockton and saw that the same thing had happened there that happened in our little town an hour south.

He said that crops would fail in central California. check the news for 06 and 07
That year we had massive crop failures particularly in oranges and grapes. The food bank that I helped with was putting together food to send to the farm labor housing areas because there was no work

He said that California would burn from the mountains to the ocean. Again, documented by a news report.

more recently, when he told us to get out of the stock market we listened.

We haven't lost anything in our retirement investments in the last 3 months, in fact we are a little (very little) up, how many can say that?

The most convincing argument for me however is that he is teaching from the whole bible, you get people taking clips out of what he says to try to prove he is teaching stuff he isn't saying. If you want to hear what he is saying about paul, you cant get it in a you tube clip, pull up a chair, it is 10 hours of systematic bible study. you don't have to spend a dime, I can send you the audio files.

Raulito says:
Michael,

Beware of prophets of doom. Jesus said whenever we hear the prophets of doom, we are not to follow them. All these disasters are bound to happen, but we are not to be alarmed nor follow those prophets of doom, but we are to remain faithful to Christ and not deviate from Him.

You say, people did not want to listen to this prophet. Yes, Jesus said "do not follow them"

Amber Brown says:
Michael,

I know of Prophet Tom Deckard and believe he is the real thing. But please don't expect anyone on these forums to believe you or him. I have found nothing but redicule, bashing and heathenism on these threads and I will never expect anything less. Most people on here just want to try to disillusion everyone worse that themselves already are. The brainwashed masses like nothing more than to twist and mangle the toughts and words from the true believers. I know that we are to warn others, but as the saying goes, "Don't cast your pearls before swine".

Blessings and prayers!!

Michael Syder, did you know that Tom's older brother, Rick, is a bounty hunter who retires rogue replicants from outer space?

Wow, are you telling me that he predicted earthquakes in California, there would be a disease in the world, and that home prices were inflated on the west coast? The man is a truly a prophet!

marleyman says:
Did you research his claims about how the prime minister of Barbados resigned? guess what he did not resign he was voted out. Also lets look at his 2005 claim that he cured the brother of the president of Malawi from AIDS. The man died in 2001 FROM AIDS. Plus lets lo ok at the prophecies he gives on his own website. He says that he predicted that the Mississippi River would flood. Well if you know anything about flood plains you can expect that somewhere along the river an area will flood. On the false profit show of May 4 2012 blog radio he says that man is causing the destruction of earth by CO2. He never mentioned that he own two escalades and they get about 8 miles to the gallon. You are being lied to and you seem to enjoy it. Repent now and Jesus will forgive you. By the way I have lots more to tell you if you want. He does not qualify as a levitical priest he has money and it is used to be yours.
