Godstone - The Kairos Boxes

This is a brilliant Christmas book. It's a very original time travel fantasy set between two Christmases.

Hi. While I have self-published four children's fantasy-adventure books in recent years, I also wrote a Christmas-themed novella titled A CHRISTMAS CASTLE in 2008 you might enjoy. As money was tight at the time, I never published it in book form but didn't want to let it languish either. I decided to post the entire novella on my website for anyone to read for free. It is still there, and though I will publish it someday, I have decided to let it exist in cyberspace for a time while I work on my next project. A back cover summary is below.

On Christmas night in 1966, eight-year-old Jack Mason glanced up at a shooting star while playing in his backyard. Now in 2048 at age ninety, Jack finally learns about an event that resulted from such a trivial occurrence.

Gloria Grant, a new resident at the Harbor View Retirement Home, surprises Jack by telling him that she would never have been born if he hadn't seen that shooting star eighty-two years ago. Jack is skeptical, to say the least, since he has only known Gloria for three months.

So begins A CHRISTMAS CASTLE, a tale of two ordinary people caught up in a conversation about distant memories and forgotten dreams. And while most individuals' lives won't reach meteoric heights, the day-to-day building of a life and a family can be an extraordinary thing by itself. And when fate decides to lend a hand, sometimes even forgotten dreams can still blossom.

A great new release for the whole family is A Very Shiny Nose. A young widowed veterinarian is unexpectedly called to the North Pole the day before Christmas. He has just hours to figure out why Rudolph's nose no longer glows red. Sadly, if he cannot cure Rudolph in time to guide Santa's sleigh, there will be no more Christmas. First there was A Christmas Carol, The Night Before Christmas, and Miracle on 34th Street. Now there?s a new classic Christmas story for your child's generation: A Very Shiny Nose.

May I suggest my new book: MY PAL LITTLE SNOWFLAKE. It is a delightful story about a little boy who makes a snowman to be his best friend. Together they have lots of fun with many exciting adventures including sharing a secret about a very special place. The little boy grows up to share his secret about his pal and the unique place with his grandson in a very interesting way. Children and the young at heart will enjoy this charming story, activity, and coloring book anytime of the year!

The story is written in way a child will understand what having a best friend truly means, ways of sharing and giving with others, and how to remember your best friend in your heart even when you grow older. There are several pages of fun activities to do in the form of puzzles, fill-ins, search and find, and etcetera to expand educational skills in a fun and interacting way. All the pictures throughout the book can be colored. The book is very unique with the story, activities, and pictures to color and will draw the attention of the child. There are 68 pages in this soft covered book. MY PAL LITTLE SNOWFLAKE is available here on Amazon or check out my web site:

Palm Wednesday (Volume 1)
May I recommend the above new book, a "fictitious" non-fiction that will add to what you now know about Easter, Christmas, Jesus's birth, baptism, crucifixion and resurrection. For all ages. Awaiting your comments.

I'd like to recommend my Christmas book, Orphaned Hearts. The story is set in Northwestern Arkansas during 1932. It's inspired by my granddad, who grew up in the orphanage I based the one in the story upon. The book is about a couple of misfits searching for a home for an orphaned child with a handicap, and finding a family with one another. It's available here on Kindle, and at other ebook stores.

The Jewel Collar (Garden Friends Club) I would like to recommend my children's picture book. Children 4-8 will enjoy reading it and younger children will enjoy the 67 color pictures while it is read to them. The Jewel Collar is the story of a Maltese dog, Aristotle, who moves from the family beach house to a new home so his Mommy, an attorney, can be closer to the Courthouse and train station. Ari is very sad, missing his garden friends. Ari decides to share the jewels on his Jewel Collar with new friends in the Floral Park garden. The lesson learned is you can make new friends by sharing and friendship. Available now in eBook and shortly in soft and hardcover editions.

Angelina's Angels is a great Christmas story about hope and the spirit of the Christmas season. It is very timely and timeless. A good story to read alone or as a family during the holiday.
