Does anyone know where I can find a copy of the 1991 Disney made for TV movie called In the Nick of Time. I believe it aired on NBC and it starred Lloydd Bridges as a Santa Claus lookinmg for a replacement (a concept Disney had already used in Ernest Saves Christmas and would use again in The Santa Clause.) This film aired on the Disney Channel into the 90's and then abruptly went MIA. I understand it's one of the most requested Disney made for TV films to be issued on DVD along with A Mom For Chrstmas. Since The Disney Movie Club has issued that title maybe In the Nick of Time will be close behind?

I'd like a DVD also. I put my recorded VHS copy on DVD but it is in really BAD condition! Would love to know why they haven't released this!

I would also love to get a copy for my mother who laments annually that this actually-good Christmas movie is never on.

Jeskps says: has anyone found where we can get this movie? My copy is burned on a DVD that I recorded in VHS who knows how many years ago and it's in pitiful shape.

Mine is in the same shape <sigh>. Periodically I email Disney but have never had any response. I guess all we can do is keep trying.

I've been after this movie for a long time now. And I still haven't been able to obtain a copy of it. There's another Christmas movie that I'm also trying to get a hold of, called 'The Christmas list' Starring Mimi Rogers. These are the only two movies that I need to complete my Christmas movies collection. I live in Australia ...

Orphelia, I have The Christmas List on a DVD that I burned from a VCR tape many years ago; same with In the Nick of Time. I have about wore them both out. I can tell you that I recorded The Christmas List off ABC Family Channel but they have not aired movie in a long time. Maybe if we all complain enough, they will show the movie again.

Hi Jeskps,

Years ago in Australia they used to play both movies during Christmas time. And I've been waiting for them to do that each Christmas. Sadly, they haven't. So I was hoping to find the movies somewhere. Yes, you're right! We should complain and let them know that we all want our Christmas movies to be aired. lol.
Thanks for your reply and hope you had a wonderful Christmas and also a New year.
