MissMiscellanea,

RE: TW HoF

You are not limited to those cadidates which have previously received votes (the ones on the list). You can nominate new candidates as well. For example, Frank Sinatra is not on the list, because no one has ever nominated him. But someone has nominated him in this nominations window.

I'm recording your ballot as you posted it. If you wish to revise it, please post a new ballot before the deadline.

Lady Zu'l says:
Steve, Listening to Varesé's Poeme Electronique right now. I guess I gravitated to his "prog-like" 16- and 17-minute pieces when picking them out last night.

EDIT: This is pretty amazing. Every once in a while I hear something very Pink Floydesque, which makes me wonder if they weren't influenced by Varesé on some level as well!

Steelers fan says:
Blow, blow, thou winter wind
Thou art not so unkind
As man's ingratitude;
Thy tooth is not so keen,
Because thou art not seen,
Although thy breath be rude.

Heigh-ho! sing, heigh-ho! unto the green holly:
Most friendship is feigning, most loving mere folly:
Then heigh-ho, the holly!
This life is most jolly.

Freeze, freeze thou bitter sky,
That does not bite so nigh
As benefits forgot:
Though thou the waters warp,
Thy sting is not so sharp
As a friend remembered not.
Heigh-ho! sing, heigh-ho! unto the green holly:
Most friendship is feigning, most loving mere folly:
Then heigh-ho, the holly!
This life is most jolly.

RE Some Children See Him

One of Alfred Burt's carols. He was a jazz musician, but is perhaps best-known for his contemporary (1950s) Christmas carols, sacred and secular.

Ben R. says "blame me". I don't want to blame anybody, but pee-yew. And Heath Miller really messed up his leg in that piece-of-crap fest Sunday.

I dunno. ABNETY. Anybody But New England This Year. I think Atlanta could go all the way.

Don't wanna hear about football till the Irish pound Bama.

And no frigging Penguins. You clowns hit a little black rubber disc into a net for truckloads of cash. WORK IT OUT. I need hockey when my football team poops out.
