Every band you have put down as well.

How about a fan based rock n roll hall of fame instead of this political correct one.

It should be called the Rock & Roll Hall of Shame or Hall of Lame. You have acts out there like Def Leppard, Kiss, Rush, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Bon Jovi, Journey, Foreigner and a few others I'm probably forgetting that have been ignored by this clueless institution. Memorable WTFs?! Let's just take this years inductees, shall we. The Blue Caps?, Laura Nyro?, The Miracles?, The Famous Flames?, Donovan?, The Small Faces?, The Midnighters? Who the hell are these people?!

Somebody at Hall of Fame-land has something against Prog Rockers.......instead, we get Donna Summer in it.

I would recommend Badfinger....however...seeing that Joey Molland would be there to accept the award in part for the 3 deceased members and claim to have been the leading man of the can forget that.

#2...I'd say ELO....but Jeff Lynne would refuse to include anyone who went on to be a part of ELO pt forget that one as well.

#3 Rush........oh yea, almost forgot, they are Prog Rock along with about 10 others who arn't on the list.

HOW ABOUT Cheap Trick then......I can't think of a viable excuse as to why they arn't there...

sure, we can throw in Sonny. I was just thinking of Cher's overall career. Hits in the 60s & early 70s with Sonny, solo hits throughout the 70's, comeback in late 80's hits in the 90's.
If Madonna and michael jackson are in, certainly Cher should be in there as well.

C Bennett - Badfinger was a fine band. Joey Molland contributed many great songs to Badfinger although Pete Ham wrote and sang the hits. Joe contributed as much as the the other two members if not more.
Jeff Lynne is one, of a remaining few artists, that can do no wrong in my eyes. I was totally prepared to hate his oldies CD but ended up loving it. Same with the re-recorded songs CD . The songs do sound better. So he makes some extra money off of them. ,still better than most of whats out there today.
Cheap Trick are so influencial to so many bands and, still rock. They should be in.
