Prcleburne and Peter

My ex brother in law who I still hang with socially, loaned me his copy of Black Ice. Wow I wasn't sure what to expect, but it's really good, fits in the catalog nicely between Back in Black and Razor's Edge..to me it captures the best of those two albums. cant wait till I can buy my own copy, it's a darn good album

Angelo Badalamenti:Twin Peaks, Fire Walk With ME!

Good to hear that new AC/DC kiss arse!
Now...here's a big surprise. I actually heard the first 'hit' song from Chinese Democracy...and it was very good!
Must be Buckethead. Everything he's touched is pretty much gold. But, Axel really sounded tough and gritty...not Welcome To The Jungle...but still made me want to check it out. ;^)
Now if he just wasn't such a little weinie on stage.....

Nice taste!

Oh! That would be Julee Cruise. Very, very cool!

Moving on with The Brain Surgeons:Death Denial.
I'm working up my energy level for Happy Hour.

I have several Julee Cruise CD's, and nearly everything by Badalamenti. Love David Lynch, but still can't sit through Inland Empire....way too freaky! (and I thought Donnie Darko was weird!)

Grateful Dead- Dozin' at the Knick

I love DOSING at the Knick.

I think late 1980s / early 1990s live Grateful Dead doesn't get enough respect. I wouldn't put it up againsts the late 1970s (my favorite era), but it certainly does hold its own.
