Happy birthday to RG and Mrs. BigBad! Hope a wonderful day is had by all!

I am at my father's place in Glide, Oregon. He got two (count them, TWO) concussions in the past month or so. One from a sheep jumping up and smacking his temple; and the other from a tree branch whipping back and smacking his forehead. It was lucky he was hit in the head, anywhere else and he would have been really hurt! He has headaches and gets dizzy but is definitely on the mend. My siblings and fellow cygnets (young swans) have decided that he (age 79) should have someone near. I am that person for right now.

Anyway, I am thinking about The Meeces and MC at the Ringo concert tonight. I had a ticket but am happy to be here helping out my pop. Rock a little for me, OK?

G. Vigrass says:
I went through thre computer crash thing twice, once with the hard drive and another with an external hard drive (which was supposed to take care of everything, I didn't know they could crash too..)
Get a SSD external hard drive....and back up all music...anything of value.

I have tons of "photo's" here - if there is anything you want/need just let me know...

In reply to an earlier post on Jul 15, 2012 2:26:48 PM PDT
Lady Zu'l says:
Methinks it's time for us to buy a second external drive and copy the Zguy's collection onto it. I can then use it on my computer. The chances that both drives would go kaput simultaneously are slim. I'm not too proud to learn from somebody else experiences, after all.

Lady Zu'l says:

Really sad that you're missing the Ringo Starr concert with MC and the Meeces. Regardless of the quality of the concert, the fellowship is priceless. But what you're doing for your father is time-honored ... and necessary, it sounds like. Two concussions! Keep a close eye on him (I know you are!!).

I've missed you here lately. So glad you've dropped in. We're doing some serious rocking on your behalf!
