Back in May of 2008 Master of Reality first posed this question: You are given a radio show that airs at 9:00 PM. You have time to play ten songs each night. What is the first song you play? If you have time, what are the first ten songs you play? The names have changed but the spirit of this thread remains dedicated to music, fellowship and fun (not to mention the greater good of all mankind).

Welcome to the Cornhusker/Wolverine Express, jointly conducted by Rand (Stonehenge) Stoner, and Zeddicus and Lady Zu'l. The Trainwreck knows no state lines, and this is living proof of it. We deal with time signatures, not time zones. We are a multi-cultural, multi-generational (including geezers!), multi-genre, multi-national, multi-tasking, multi-grain community, and we're not afraid to use it!

It only stands to reason that people who care so strongly about music would grow to care just as strongly about each other. Otherwise the Wreck would never have gone on as long as it has without that kind of caring. So, for the first time, this multi-person Wreck (it was a challenge finding three conductor hats!) welcomes you with these playlists:

Rand's contribution:
Hawkwind - Paranoia (Part 1)
The Beatles - Helter Skelter
Sting - Englishman In New York
Grand Funk Railroad - Some Kind of Wonderful
Electric Light Orchestra - Daybreaker
Steve Miller - I Want To Make The World Turn Around
Pat Benatar - Promises In The Dark
Alice Cooper - Generation Landslide
Stevie Wonder - Pastime Paradise
Little River Band - Guiding Light

ZZ's picks:
Camel - A Song Within A Song
Glass Hammer - Arianna
Mars Hollow - Dawn of Creation
Mystery - Voyage to the Other Side
IQ - Widow's Peak
Mostly Autumn - Heroes Never Die
Arena - The Tinder Box
Pendragon - The Paintbox
Proto-Kaw - Quantum Leapfrog
The Dear Hunter - Red Hands

And finally, from the Lady:
Pink Floyd (RULEZZZZ!) - Hey You
Jordan Rudess - Rhythm of Time
Ray LaMontagne - Jolene
Earth & Fire - Song of the Children
Bad Company - Rock `n' Roll Fantasy
Genesis - Watchers of the Skies
The Flower Kings - Monsters & Men
Nektar - Desolation Valley/Waves
Kansas - Icarus - Borne On Wings of Steel
Mott the Hoople - Saturday Kids
