WO objection, let's take SB up on his offer while I compile lists and start a new thread.

SB, if you could post a new discussion called Listening Group 2.1 - Huber PC or some such, we' can get going ASAP.

Thanks, All!

Happy to start with Huber: Piano Concerto 1(on U-Tube), good quality recording and performance; some movements particuarly lovely.Any good? And when do we start listening and commenting?Steve

Lets take rollcall before continuing. Think anchoring off the old one will prove a CF

MZ says, "Haven't seen DJF in a while. I'll take over moderating if there's interest in continuing."

Still no DJF. I want this thing to continue, so why don't you go ahead until DJF gets back? Who's up?

Dichterliebe says:
I miss David Friedlander. I hope he's fine and merely taking a well-deserved vacation.

MZ: thank you. I love the "listening group" and if you are willing to moderate it its great.

Is David J. Friedlander still around to moderate?

I have been absent from the forum for a number of weeks. Family visiting over the holidays had us occupied full time.
I come back online, expecting to see this thread active and wanting to catch up.
But no; It seems that my forum absence coincided with a holiday also for this thread.

Anyone willing to pick this up again?

I've lost count where we are so I've just posted Listening Group 3X and will figure out the number later. A holiday contribution that I first heard as the "B-Side" of a CD I can't even recall ;->

Our fearless leader seems MIA. I'll post something in the wee small hours.

Sorry for your travails, SB. Hope things improve.

You got something lined up, DF?

S. Benson says:
Sorry, folks, for my impoliteness in not letting you know sooner: i have been having hospital visits; nothing serious but time-consuming; and problems with the National health service here, which is not always as wondeful as it is made out to be.Can you take me off the rota for now, but i will re-post if I want to re-enter it and await my turn. Apologies again. Steve

Hi David, I'll post something today. I'm labeling the selection #32 since there was a one week holiday.

Lark, I would like to call this week a holiday and it would be great if you would post something this coming Friday 11/30.

I'll pick on the following week.

Thanks!

Glad to defer to Mr Friedlander or someone else for No. 32 so I have time to prepare something thoughtful for No. 33 next Friday. Thanks.

At this point, following the standing proposal, Larkenfield or Friedlander should be welcome to enter...
