You are giving people the impression that I have a messy bedroom or leave dirty dishes lying round.... but it is sooo satisfying to reorganise these lists, and into neat blocks of five: a secondary purpose of my deductions!

By the way, David - I am with you on the Piano Concerto

You might be at least half right. I can well imagine Prokofiev was the kind to have a messy bedroom and that Sibelius, in his various phases of inebriation, frequently left dirty dishes lying around - nothing dirty about the 7th though.

Folks, you're welcome to keep voting here if you wish, but we're down to 15 works (as of MF's double ding). The two halves of the 20th century will merge into a final game, with the points carried forward from the double-ding point, soon. THANKS!!

Both prelims over, great job, MZ!

Can we seed the works with 10 instead of 5 points? I thought the game was more interesting with more points at the outset.

Edit: I see where you wrote points carried forward... Hmmm, How about a re-seeding?

Thanks, Peter!

My thought was to seed works with the points they had at the merge since a lot of collective effort has been put into what we have so far. Moreover, if we started from a level playing field, I think we know what would happen, and that would negate the objective of separating the two halves in the first place. The latter half may still be obliterated but it will require more work ;-)

Ok, MZ. Thanks.

Finals will start around 10AM Amazon time. Since it's a new game, everyone's nine hour clock resets.
