John Spinks says:

Did it cause her to sing Canadian songs in the soprano range?

well perhaps she should take up hunting them in a helicopter and then claim its a 'sport'.
hey it worked for sarah P.

In reply to an earlier post on Mar 7, 2011 7:09:17 PM PST
No singing, praise the Lord, but a proclivity to carve her initials everywhere and an obsession with the telephone system. A holiday in Sweden might do her some good.

Sarah P shoots meese (or is it mooses ? mousse ?) from helicopters ? Coward. Let's give the moose a gun - now THAT would be a sport.

And I could use a swig of that Royal Firewater right now.

Zadok - thanks for the info on Prokofiev quartets with the Paval Haas Qt. I never saw that release, although I've had those quartets in mind for quite a while - as soon as my wallet's recovered somewhat I'll be after it.

Well, Stephen as long as I am perverting your morals, here's a link to the Supraphon site :
They have sound bites... (evil laugh)

I guess from the other album covers the person whose gender I questioned is female.

A rather unfortunate looking woman, but a woman.

BTW this is NOT gender discrimination, she made an unforturnate looking pirate who I thought could have been male.

You are insensitive. I think you should spend a week as a tranny, so you can understand them and their needs better. I have just the skirt for you. Actually, you're probably more of a skort tranny.

<<You are insensitive. I think you should spend a week as a tranny, so you can understand them and their needs better.>>
what makes you think I haven't?
You can't judge a person until you've walked a mile in their cha-cha heels.

A sensible heel is much better for your back.

Oh, so Zadok is one of *those* trannies - the kind who wear sensible shoes. I bet you still look like Velma on Scooby no matter what you do. You need a makeover, girlfriend.

I like my round glasses.

Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed

I'm sure a lot of thought didn't go into these.

I have no idea why the artist let this picture of her be used on a CD cover :
El Dorado

Larkinfield says:
She's as cute as a bug in a rug and her Debussy is outta this world - free, airy and full of musical shadings. I think Debussy would have fallen for her too - outstanding. I've added her cd to my wish list (of 10,000 items). So many Etudes... so little time.

i think you're absolutely on point.i have most of the florestan trios from hyperion and the art is great,as are all their cd's.

Tristan Und Isolde: Orchestral Passion
I know it's trying a bit too hard, but it belongs here.

Chiapello - Now I'm scarred. Where do I send the psychiatric bill?

I believe it was mentioned here before, along with the following 2, but it bears repeating :
Parsifal: An Orchestral Quest
Der Ring: Orchestral Adventure

Yeah, I sort of had a deja vu after I posted it. Musically, it's quite good, though.

the swimming flippers on the rhine maidens are my favorites.

the 'tristan' cover reminds me of the title character in the original 'parasite eve' game.
well one of her later transfigurations.
I just replayed it( '3rd birthday' just came out I figured what the hey its been 12 years let me get back into the series proper)
eve is an opera singer who has mutant mitochandria and it opens with her making everyone in carnege hall spontaniously combust!!! well check out the youtube to see the 'trailer'.
videogame sci-fi melodrama at its finest. whose PSone early CSG graphics seem really dated by today's standards.
