I don't want to be overly self-promoting, but I do want to announce my new memoir. I was in C 2/4 Infantry (Pershing) from '86-'88, and I've written a new book describing my experiences. We were security for Pershing II nuclear missiles. It's a very personal narrative describing what my years in Germany looked like through my eyes. It is often a very funny story.
SAT & BAF! Memories of a Tower Rat by Doug DePew.
So far, comments have been overwhelmingly positive...especially from people who were there. If you have ever served in Germany or would like to know what it was like to serve in Germany during a warm period of the Cold War, you should check out this book. It is now $2.99 on Kindle or it's available in print.
