Pony,
Pago Pago looks like they roll up the sidewalks at nine o'clock.
Pat Paulsen and Murray Langston did a comedy skit about it on The Smothers Brother's Show.
"Another boring day on the island fo Pago Pago."

It's all coming back to me now.

If the wiggly one is away (and out of earshot) we can talk about her and she'll never know.

The Santa margaritas are ready and on the bar - I made nine pints so there's plenty for everyone.
Recipe: pour 9 pts of tequila thorough a fur trimmed red suit - add crushed ice and a lime wedge. Done.

Awesome! Thank you for the recipe, too! LOL!

Hey Aims, is it freezing up there in Maine too? It's cold and raining in our part of NY. Don't want to turn the temple furnace on but I've preheated the oven a few times today just to warm the kitchen up a little.

Yes, it's cold up here, too. Not raining yet, but getting cold. I am not ready to turn our furnace on yet, either. Yuck!

I'm thinking of putting my Santa margarita on hold for later and having a hot cocoa with a shot of Bailey's instead.
Maybe I'll have 2 or...

Puff,
just go straigh for the Bailey's!

That's an even better idea! Puff just hates the fall sooooooooo much! Winter I'm okay with - Love summer but would rather be someplace warm until fall is over.

Bbbbbrrrrr! I really hate to turn the furnace on before October 15th, but it feels like snow out there tonight! Yuck and shiver! Maybe I need a few of these to keep me warm tonight!

In reply to an earlier post on Oct 7, 2012 7:06:39 PM PDT
Warm and yummy! A couple of those would work for me too.

It's in the 30's here Aims and that's unusually cold for this time of year - just ran out and brought the plants in from the temple porch in case the temps goes any lower.

In reply to an earlier post on Oct 7, 2012 7:20:06 PM PDT
Yes, that actually is for us, too. We may have winter for half the year, but that doesn't begin until November! Brrrr! I can tell that the cold air is coming. The air feels different.
