Where did you order them?

You are way of base. The issue is that Sarah Lee, sold their North American coffee division to Kraft Foods. Kraft already owns a single cup serving system through Folgers and decided to take Senseo of the market. You can import Senseo Dark Roast directly from France for a fairly reasonable price and on and of, Amazon still is able to deliver.

Good news if true, will have to check this out ASAP.

Amazon still says: "Temporarily out of stock. Order now and we'll deliver when available."

And from the Senseo website just now: "This item is currently unavailable. Please click the "Email me when in stock" link above and we will notify you when this item is back in stock." #%&#@&@@!

OK, I'll pipe down now, but I DID just find an online store selling Senseo pods & others that fit Senseo machines, and the stuff is in stock. Good prices & discounts, but offset by a hefty shipping fee, so it evens out to decent pricing. I just ordered and did *not* receive a "Not in Stock" warning: http://www.davescoffeepods.com/

Sorry, when I saw the email, I was really excited, and did not check whether they were really in stock before posting here.

I hope they will be soon, though.

Use Mellita coffee pods - they're the same style as Senseo and taste just as good. Love the Senseo coffee pot, but did get discouraged trying to find pods. Have made my own, but it's messy.

M. Jacobson says:
We make our own every day and it isn't that messy, I don't think. You simply can't beat the price of making your own and they sure are more fresh than store bought.

I would love to make my own pods.
Could you please explain how you make yours ?

I use a hand crafted Senseo pod maker I bought on eBay.

Jane Doe says:
Does your pod maker work well and are you satisfied with it ?

In reply to an earlier post on Jul 29, 2012 9:24:00 PM PDT
M. Jacobson says:
Yes. And it saves you a lot of money.

In reply to an earlier post on Jul 29, 2012 10:03:30 PM PDT
Marilyn, you are talking about the pod maker that you sell on eBay, and Amazon has removed your posts in the past because they are promoting your eBay product, against Amazon's rules.

And the new Senseo pod price isn't good enough to tempt me to go back, since the Java One, Melitta and Wolfgang Puck pods are delivering decent taste & crema quite nicely. Maybe the price wll drop with increased availability.... Maybe.

Jane Doe says:
Wow ... didn't know she's promoting her own pod maker.
Thanks for the info April !

Jane Doe says:
@ emceemk: What was the old price you used to pay, if I may ask ?
I used to pay around $24 on Drugstore.com for 6 packs of Espresso - IMHO a very reasonable price - but now of course discontinued.

I need a solution soon, before we start showing "Senseo-withdrawal-symptoms" ;)

Thanks April and Jane Doe for helping put a damper on 2 retired people trying to raise a little money $10 at a time to help pay their $1200 a mo. health insurance any way they can. My husband just had cancer surgery. Do you both feel better now?
