OKRA,OKRA,OKRA,got to be the most gross, slimy looking veggie ever, never tried tripe or any organs. Don't like most cheeses either.

Heh, heh, I've had guinea pig on a stick. Not bad (yep, it tasted like chicken wings), but a little too spicy for me. This was during my Peace Corps days in West Africa. I'll eat just about anything at least once (stinky tofu, fufu, goose blood soup, chicken feet, you get the idea), and have been pleasantly surprised most of the time (well, not the stinky tofu). Being very hungry helps, as does an ability to focus on something else. I won't ever eat animal brains (mad cow or other prion diseases) or canned lima beans, but that's it so far.

Liver. I was forced to eat it as a kid (my foster mom would pull my hair and shove it in my mouth). I can't stand the smell of it. I don't think I could ever eat any organs.

I'm a Vegan. I was forced to eat Brussel Sprouts as a kid and I hated it. Asparagus, Brussel Sprouts, and all canned foods are yucky!

Absolutely. Okra slime. I'd rather eat dirt. Seriously.

I despise bubblegum and everything about it. The smell alone is enough to make me want to wretch and just can't tolerate anything that is bubblegum flavored.

Liver, the smell of it and chitterlings turns my stomach. How can something that looks like fecal matter(liver) or smells like a dirty public restroom (chitterlings) be good for you.

MommaCat says:
Who ever said the chitterlings were good for you?

My dad used to like sardines on crackers with beer mixed with tomato juice. His breath could have made a roach gag.

I agree. I don't like licorice, angelfood cake, or coconut.

Honey, if anyone ever saw the big fat slugs that come up on my porch and get on my cats dishes, they wouldn't eat escargot either. Yuck! My son likes to poke at their eyes to make them go in. :(

We had rice on our trays for lunch at school one day and a girls said it looked like someone sh_t maggots. If that won't put someone off of rice, I don't know what will.

Okra is yummy if you cut it up, roll it in cornmeal, and fry it. I am from AL and we eat that sometimes.

I don't like canned peaches. They remind me of dead goldfish.

If that isn't disgusting, I don't know what is. I think I just threw up a little.

I said it before and I'll say it again...okra isn't slimy if your knife is sharp. Get some decent knives and keep them sharp!

I've never had grilled okra. That sounds insanely good! I always order it when a bbq place has it fried. And I add it to soup whether it belongs or not : ) And what would gumbo be without it?

Green, yellow, red or whatever color peppers! YUCK. My mom forced me to eat them as a kid and now just thinking about them makes me feel sick.

I also don't like bacon or any cured meats, milk, baby corn, or chunk light tuna. And lots more. I'm a bit of a picky eater, but I try not to be a pain about it.
