I loved that concert, but only caught it once. It was incredible-I especially liked it when they did the duet of "That's All" by Genesis, and when Alison sang "What the Cowgirls Do".

Thank you for getting that question in here. I have searched and searched CMT re. it, and they just apparently don't bother with e-mails. I did record it off of the TV last year, however, I have lost it or someone has taped over it. I watched it twice back then and then watched my tape over and over til it "disappeared". If you get an answer to your question, please pass that info on to me.. I'd be ever so grateful. I've also tried to get CMT to let me know if the Eric Clapton special will be aired again. All for naught, because they haven't answered that one either. I cannot sit by my TV 24/7 watching endless cheerleader hopefuls and trucks being tricked It seems to me like Alison Krauss and Vince Gill were just made to sing together. Both are awesome in their own rights, but doubly so together.

I tried that. All that I could find being offered were pictures from the show. I went into next week and probably 2 more weeks and didn't find the show itself. You'd think, wouldn't you, that as much as they re-run everything else, they'd at least re-run something good like that. Please if you find out more, let bbdabad and me know.

Yes, I've done several searches of CMT-they did have one video clip of Vince singing "Blue Trail of Sorrow", but that was all.

Google searches didn't turn up anything except articles written about the performance.

There were a couple of videos on Youtube for awhile, but they were taken down due to copyright. Which is perfectly understandable, of course, but I wish they'd release it in a legal format so I could buy it and enjoy it again. Either a CD or a DVD of the concert.

I guess with there being two major stars involved, there may be some kind of hold up with the legal end that they might have to resolve first. Until then, I shall pine.

I agree that with all of the crappy reruns they show, they could at least play something this good again. Giving up classics like the cheerleader boot camp would be a great sacrifice, but it is one I'm willing to make.

Alison's new cd with Robert Plant...when I first heard it, I was wonderring what the heck they were thinking. Now I can't stop playing it. So that eases my pain...a little.
