Cool clip! :D

I was wondering where I'd heard that song before ("I'm tore down / I'm almost level with the ground"), and I just remembered that I have Eric Clapton's version on 1994's 'From the Cradle.'

Didn't I hear that the new album is being produced by Justin Townes Earle?

You heard right. The album's producer will be Justin Townes Earle. There is a video on this link and has some interviews with them both talking about the album.

Happy 75th birthday to Wanda Jackson. Still rockin' and the new cd is great in my opinion.

Happy B-day, Wanda! :)

I picked up the CD in Omaha a few days ago -- very nice! I especially love her take on Etta James' "Pushover."

"California Stars" is the song I find myself listening to the most. I love her last two albums and hope she makes another one soon.

Good song. I'm so used to hearing the Billy Bragg & Wilco original, it's kind of weird to hear anyone else besides Jeff Tweedy sing it; but Wanda seems to have fun with it.

S. O'Brien says:
Gena,
That is how I am kinda with her version of It's All Over Now. I know the Rolling Stones didn't write that one, but it is all Stones for me. It is weird for me to hear someone other than Mick sing it. I kind of skip that song on the new cd.
