Hi AmaZon team!
I got E-letter from your team, and this letter can't explain why my seller account was suspended. NO reason for this action. I really don't care if I can sell on Amazon or not (not big deal for me). I remember that I add couple calendars on January 2012 to my sell account, and after this my seller account was suspended. Please explain WHY your seller team so mad for US, for customers?

Best Regards,

Copy of Amazon letter:
Hello from Amazon.

Thank you for writing. After a review of your account by an account specialist, we have decided not to reinstate your selling privileges.

We regret we are unable to provide further information on this situation. Further correspondence regarding the closure of your selling account may not be answered.

The closure of this account is a permanent action. Any subsequent accounts that are opened will be closed as well.

As an objective observer, I feel that the seller is entitled to at least an explanation as to why his account was terminated. To simply state that an "account specialist" had made the decision... without any given reason, and then to go on to say the issue is closed, is one of the most discourteous actions I have ever seen. The power that Amazon has is becoming appalling. The very least that should be done is to provide an answer to the simple request as to WHY!

For MayB, that's a funny opener. None of us are objective, although we may have more or less bias about a subject. Further, N. Young has provided a single pasted statement, the veracity and history of which we have no means to verify. Further, how is a forum the correct tool to address such a concern? Yet, you have de facto sided with a stranger in a forum, and made your ruling filled with righteous indignation (the latter of which I approve for sheer conviction). Amazon has no "power", it's a business; further, even if it did have "power", quantify the appalling part. Is it akin to the library police, perhaps?

I believe it. In a large organization sometimes data and accounts get mixed up, even by a "specialist".

"The power that Amazon has is becoming appalling."

I don't know if I would call it abuse of 'power' or 'appalling'.

On face value, I might say that canceling the account without a specific explanation is callous and rude.

But we will never know the real reason behind this action. With all due respect to the OP, I know that sometimes when they find what looks like 'fishy' behavior, a company like Amazon does well to not explain the reason for closing an account, like a mother finding a kid with his hands in the cookie jar -she doesn't tell the kid how she caught him and give him a chance find a better way to dupe her the next time, and but she might put the cookie jar out of reach without an explanation.

Gee Jane, that was pretty harsh! Maybe the person whose account got suspended's English is a second language to them. Do you really think that they would have posted that if they knew well what the problem was? I think not. Lighten up.
