Mr. Ed says:
What are the things to look for, and look out for, when buying a used SLR?
I am thinking I can get more camera for the money.
Am I thinking wrong?
I am a bit of a novice.

JCUKNZ says:
If you really don't know what you are doing you need to buy from a place you can trust ...I trust and have bought from B&H and KEH who give conservative descriptions of the 2/h goods they sell. I agree that you probably will get more camera for your money though not the most up to date but that shouldn't hold you back unduely. I think most of us are 'novices' when it comes to the sophisticated cameras these days. Remember too that some of the M4/3 cameras are very much similar to the DSLRs ... must be nearly a decade since I bought a DSLR :-)
