I have a 20 month old son and a 10 week old daughter. I bought and returned the Valco Tri mode Twin, which I absolutely loved, but it was hard to fold and it wouldn't fit through a standard door. I am thinking about the Baby jogger City elite. Does anyone know if it will fit through door the way the City Mini does?

We have a small house and need to store our stroller outside, but it takes a beating in the sun and rain. Does anyone have a recommendation for products to protect a stroller while not in use? We have a double/Dullie BOB Revolution. Everything I find is for for when the stroller has the kids in it!

AS says:
Buy a tarp, anything... if you really want to go all out, buy an outside storage shed (Rubbermaid etc.) to fold and store inside of. Approx $200 but worth it if your stroller is not already destroyed.

As far as fit through doors, I have to check out the BOB, My 3 and half year old daughter is over 50 lbs (VERY TALL), as I am 6'7". There is no way we can use Peg, Chicco, etc, wish we could but there is no way she will confortably fit, she might as well walk! If the BOB is as good as people are making it out and can suitably fit our daughter I will pay the money. We did look at the VALCO, barely accomadated out daughter, these side by sides just dont seem practical (doors/isles) hence we tried the Joovy Ergo (great Amazon sale price).

Nov 2010 - The Bob Duallie will fit through a 32" door (barely) but it's maximum capacity is 50 lbs/ 44 in height (the canopy will be too low). You could try the Techno, it's on the narrow side for the seats but the canopies can be raised signifcantly, so if your daughter is slim she will fit in it.

Update Feb 2011 - after several months of using both, I found neither one really worked as well as expected - they're both too wide for doctor's offices, errands, and do not fit between parked cars. I've been using the Baby Jogger City Select now for two months and it's become my everyday stroller - super narrow, very comfortable seats (12" wide), great canopy, full recline when rearfacing, huge storage basket, folds easily and compactly, and you can use 1 or 2 car seats with it. I really wish I had bought this stroller first, before shelling out nearly a thousand bucks on the Bob Duallie and the Techno. See my full review of this stroller under my profile.
