Biographies for kids?

My 6 yr old daughter has become interested in reading biographies. She's a pretty good reader (reading at around a 3rd grade level), read bios on Helen Keller and Louisa May Alcott yesterday, and is reading one on Abigail Adams now. She commented that she liked when the story included information about family members, and she seems to like stories that focus a lot on the person as a child.

I know there are a million biographies out there, many written for kids. Does anyone have specific suggestions for ones your kids have liked around this age?
