Hi there, my trainer's computer died and can't be repaired or replaced (old model). I'm a waste not want not kind of gal, and would like to know if a heart rate monitor would be a good substitute? Of course what I'm looking for is not just something that tells me what my heart rate is but will take me through an exercise routine that, for example, gradually raises the rate to the maximum and then brings me back down. Anyone know of a monitor that will do that for me, or alternative appliance? Much appreciated!

its fun to see how low your pulse rate can get during sleep OR how high you can get it during intervals.
