Sometimes, one sentence in an author's work stands out as particularly memorable. It could be a sage piece of advice from mentor to protege, an awesome example of the hero giving the villain a verbal beatdown, or just something profound. I'm not looking for paragraphs of prose or self-promotion, just a sentence or two.
