It sounds like a sure-fire hit! There will be movies, of course, and merchandising, and fan websites. Yep, I can see it all now!

"If anything I write is ever as well-received as Moon People, I shall die a happy man!"

Well what kind of incentive is that? If people love your book it will kill you! Who wants that on their conscience? Change it to "I shall live a happy man!" please!!!!!!

I second that!

Stop hogging all the exclamation points, Sweet Anna!

I think there are enough people who want me dead, who will then rush out to purchase, ensuring an early grave for yours truly. If that's what it takes ... :-)

Let me amend it to "If anything I write is ever as well-received as Moon People, then I shall be a happy man until the day, many years in the future, that I die". Will that do?

Much better! :)

And I certainly like it the way you hop to it to obey me. Now what else can I have you do? ;)

I'm here to serve and to obey, ma'am.

You're a quick learner. I've been watching her tear the intestines out of people who fail to heed her in more and more imaginative ways all week. I think I saw one dude with his pancreas hanging out of his belly button. ;)

I use my lovely FINGERNAILS so the pain is less noticeable. Glamor makes a difference.

Evisceration by SweeTart would be welcome, any time, especially with her nails ...

I'm writing in the earnest hope of avoiding a "pointy stick" reprimand:p
In the flush of having my first novel published (today) I placed a comment mentioning my book. mea culpa. Wish I had found your forum rules before jumping. Hope you can all overlook my troglidyte misstep; and allow me to participate as a fellow reader of Fantasy.

No problem with that Sandy, welcome aboard. If a few people are snarky because they saw your 'faux pas', just say what you said here, and you will be made welcome. Congrats on the book, I hope you do well with it.

Welcome Sandy,

I checked your profile and a couple of things (if I may?). The link to your blog is incorrect. I was able to find the blog but it took an extra step that some readers may not be willing to take. Also, I don't know if you can also add a link to your Amazon Author Central Page in addition to the one leading to your blog or not. But if you can, it would make it easier for readers to find (and hopefully purchase) your books.

I hope you're not a stranger to the fora. We are a lively bunch who love to talk about books and life in general. I look forward to many enjoyable conversations with you.
