@Sheila

My favorites are carnations, the old-fashioned kind that have a cinnamon-y, spicy smell that hasn't yet been bred out of them - but there's no "free" word in carnations! LOL Freesias and lilacs are second on my list.

Sadly all the carnations I have come across are free of any scent... unless forgetting to change the water in the vase counts...pyew!

My favorites are gardenias (which thrive in my garden) and jonquils.

D. Kendra ~ Love it! Freesias, indeed. :)

B. ~ Haha! We keep trying to tell you, No Randoms!

Hendrik ~ You are a sly one! That's great. (I hope you had a good meal!)

Sean ~ Your story reminded me of the Twilight Zone episode with Burgess Meredith where all he wanted was to be able to read all day. He survives the nuclear bomb only to break his glasses.

Ku ~ Oh, my. I am so awed by the way people's minds work! Well done! :)

Sheila ~ Haha! I immediately thought of Mason jars. Too funny. :)

I didn't think of that... actually, I had to look up what a mason jar was. I was thinking of the Freemasons - they wear some sort of ceremonial apron, I think.

That's funny, because I didn't get the Freemason part. I was thinking Mason was a name! I love it. :)

Sirena says:
What's happened to you, Anna? You have crossed over to the dark side... thinking I would pickle my husband Mason. Too funny... you gave it a 3-way pun!

ETA: There's no Mason... or Willy, for that matter (Free Willy!)

In reply to an earlier post on May 31, 2012 9:25:21 PM PDT
Free Willy? Oh, no. Willy is already too free around these here parts. He needs to stay inside once in awhile!

Sirena says:
LOL! There's no safe response to that.

@Sheila

Very good use of the word, too! LOL

There's a special place in Hell for people who use the down vote too freely.

There, you will be tortured for all eternity.

It's waiting.

Should anyone pay you any attention?
Feel free to be perfectly honest.

The last time he got something free he ended up with an embarrassing infection. Free ended up costing him alimony, child support, and medical bills.

Michael ~ A lesson all men should heed!

Sean ~ What? What?!!!!!!

Posted on Jun 7, 2012 10:30:53 PM PDT
Okay, Anna: it's June. Did you pick a word for June and I missed it, or have you fallen into the zone while trying to figure out what Sean Carley was hinting at? I like these little 25-word challenges!

In reply to an earlier post on Jun 7, 2012 11:39:27 PM PDT
No, I haven't gotten a new word yet. I'll always link the new challenge at the end of the previous one, so you shouldn't ever miss it.

I'm on vacation and seem to be getting less done than when I was working full time!

Hang in there, it will come. Eventually.

Okay, you asked and I deliver.

Challenge #13 is up.
