173 the scale said today. (I checked my pants their seems to be a bit more room)
again no working-out just the tea. and it does take away hunger pain. you can use this to figure out how much weight you lose in a day your average based on how active you are.then you can figure out how man calories you need to stay at same weight go up or down. For example 1 pound is 3,500 calories 1/2 a pound 0.5 is 1750 so If I eat 1,500 cals per day my weight "should" stay the same. for example.
I drink at least 2 32 oz of the tea per day. I use my old 32 oz glass coconut oil jars to drink out of. as its a good size.
with a lid that's not spill proof. :-(

Moringa Tea - 100% Pure Moringa Oleifera Tea Bags 24 count - As Seen on Dr Oz!

This stuff will work great just pour 60 degree water over 1 bag in a big glass jar and drink all day long.
the 90+ vitamins and minerals will help you sleep better, feel better + it has someting in their that takes away appitite. For example I don't eat 3 meals a day. I snack and eat 200-500 caloires a day? and every day when I step on the scale the numbers go down. You'll lose weight very easily. The key is to turn off hunger and this tea makes it possible! so your hunger will go down 90% during the day and you can eat for "something to do", check the scale each day and have a height and weight chart, for example
I was 175.8 next day 175.4 now today 174.3? I don't lose a pound a day more like 0.4 per day.
remember as your hunger goes into "reduced" mode you can lose it easily just don't lose to much!
168-178 is my weight range so 173 would be the perfect number so thats what im aiming for :)
and from not eating you wont feel like crap you'll feel great! from all the vitamins and minerals.
I drink it every day and proabbly will for the rest of my life, You can also add organic coconut oil to your diet as it can help a bit. Please remember to eat during the day (even tough you won't feel like it) Don't eat feel great who new it was possible, stranger things have happened. and remember check your weight on a scale
each morning. Oh and if you do eat while not hungry you will feel the food in you but that's about it you'll still feel the same. sometimes you can feel worse if the food has 0 nutritional value.

PHENYLALAINE produces the chemical needed to transmit signals between your nerve cells and your brain. It can help keep you alert, reduce your hunger pains, plus improve your memory and your mood.

that's what it has.. (my mood is a LOT better, memory is better to)

American Weigh Amw-330sw White Bathroom Scale 330 X 0.2 Pound

here is the exact scale I use (as most are junk and never work right, with all kinds of crazy readings) this one seems to be Extremely accurate! So I recommend this one. if your current one sucks (a lot of them do)

oh and as you eat healthy fruits and veggies witch ever ones you like Please make sure they are
usda organic. and since they are a low cal food (10 cal per apple lets say) you wont gain weight.

stay away from fat helping foods
1. bread (pasta)
2. sugar (Pepsi, not sure on organic cane sugar though? "More Research Need")
3. Non-organic food. GMO food. etc. (Wrong chemical in food might aid in weight gain)
4. Chicken ok.. Burger (not sure) made me gain weight.
5. Most processed foods (unless organic, read label) Natural Flavors on label means nothing No Legal Definition of Natural its code for (too gross to say on the box so we put this on as it sounds good :-( Red flag Usually.)

Some say "organic cane sugar is ok" some say its still sugar, evaporated cane juice should be same thing
better then processed junk sugar I'm sure. (More Research Is Required)

Applica Clear 2O Water Pitcher #CWS100A

Drink clean water (I tried many water pitchers) the one above seems to work the best + its fast filling to.

Enjoy the new you :)

Here's what you do. I don't know if anyone else has said this, but I'll just add to that suggestion then...

Anyway, buy yourself a juicer. Every day, juice, either in addition to your regular diet, or as a short-term juice fast replacement. Use all types of vegetables: kale, carrots, celery, cucumber, mustard greens, ginger and other roots, and everything else you can find organic, or at least find at all. Add an excess of fruits: apples, oranges, whatever's cheap that you enjoy. And drink it up! Not only do they taste great, but it supplies all the micronutrients you need to survive.

On top of that, take a look at the TED talk "Can we eat to cure cancer" which talks about fat as well, and watch the documentary "Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead" because it's an awesome story about a man that lost tons of weight on a juice fast. Just to see his transformation is legendary.

Oh yeah, and on top of that, your kids will love the juices too. Imagine feeding them a kale mango pineapple watermelon juice? They'll love it, and there's no added sugar, just lots of veggies snuck in!

EDIT:
And one more thing that I almost forgot. Get yourself off the pills! Do exercise! Use herbal things like valerian, kava, chamomile, etc. Nature has already made the medicines we need.

And my goodness, I cannot believe people come into these threads trying to sell you things. How annoying and tactless. I don't make any money if you buy a juicer or if you buy more veggies every week. The only person that will win is you.

Hi Melody, I was in exactly the same situation, where I just kept on gaining weight. Like you, I also like veggies and stay away from soft drinks etc, so I really couldn't understand why I was gaining. A friend then mentioned that it could be because my metabolism slowed down. A while ago Dr Oz talked about Ketone Pure 500mg. 90 Count Capsules Buy One Bottle Get One Free! . FREE SHIPPING and I decided to give it a try. It really works! I haven't changed anything else, only started taking these capsules! My energy levels also increased and I'm losing steadily. Just thought I'll tell you about what works for me :-) Good luck and all the best!

Forget reading books, counting calories, spending countless hours at the gym or taking long walks; who has time for that? I also have three children. You, like me have responsibilities and you want to lose weight NOW... Try any one of the below: 100% natural/herbal diet pills. I personally have been taking them (Lida), I started on 5/4/2012 and I have lost 7.8 pounds in a week. No joke. I was few ounces away form 150 lbs. And I still eat! This morning I weighed myself and I was 142 lbs! I have NOT seen that number in 7 years. Amazingly controls your appetite, gives you energy, boosts metabolism and burns fat. JUST ONE PILL PER DAY.

Hi Melody... I understand the changes you want to make! P90X, wow! I've heard of people who swear by it. I've lost 46 lbs between March of last year and December, and am keeping it off with the changes I've made. I feel fantastic. I am a wellness coach here in MN now. I'd be glad to do a free wellness profile for you, either online or over the phone. I also do nutrition coaching on iChange.com, which is also free. It's a great site for tracking nutrition, exercise, sleep, and much more, plus you get a personal coach (randomly assigned or you can choose me) to motivate you and support your goals. Anyway, you sounded so much like me I thought I'd reach out a hand. You can contact me at lisa.tite@gmail.com. Hope everything goes great for you! Lisa in MN

Thanks Brian :) I actually just purchased the P90X I'm just waiting for it to come in the mail. Hopefully I can keep up the motivation to get the weight off. I don't like being uncomfortable in my own skin.

Melody, so happy that your test results were in range except for the iron and D levels. I would stay away from the diet pills, they do more harm than good. Sounds like your on the right track with diet and exercise.
Good luck

Melody, glad to hear everything was normal on the physical side.
P90x was a great system.
Remember, in regards to what the scale is telling you.
I'll give you a few more pieces of advice.
1. Try and weigh yourself only once per week.
Your weight can fluctuate by up to five pounds per day.
On p90x you'll lose fat and gain muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat, so one again don't get discouraged if you don't see the number on the scale going down drastically.
You might want to get body fat calipers here on Amazon. They're only a couple of bucks and are a much better indicator if you're losing body fat.
Lastly, do NOT mess with the diet pills.
They don't work and are only a band aid for poor eating habits.
The majority of them are stimulants and will probably mess up your sleeping even worse.
All you really need to do is...
Eat well, lean meat, fruits, veggies.
Work out.
Sleep.
Do these things and results will come.
Not overnight but they will come.
Take care,
Brian

Hi Melody. A psychiatrist friend of mine told me that one of the more common side effects of Ambien is that patients get up in the middle of the night, make themselves a snack, eat it, go back to sleep, and they don't have any recollection of eating in the middle of the night. It sounds bizarre, but he said that it's quite common. Is it possible that you gained weight doing this to yourself without knowing it, because of Ambien??

Melody, Brian Nallick has just given you the best advice, a good physical is the first thing to do and as he told you if the physician isn't listening find one who will. Be sure when you have any test that you get the results (I even ask for copies) don't assume if you haven't heard from the doctors office everything is ok. Ask questions and expect answers. Check with your ob/gyn also, for PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome, very common in your age group)

It sounds like you need a good pysical exam.
Insomnia can be a warning sign of something big on the horizon health wise,
It could be your heart, thyroid issues, sleep apnea.
You won't lose any weight by not sleeping and Ambien is only addressing the surface issue anyway.
Find a doctor who will check everything, including your thyroid.
If your doctor blows you off...find a new doctor.
Weight is important but it sounds like there are other things going on.
Amazon and Google are NOT a diagnosis.

Melody, its hard especially with 3 little ones so don't be too hard on yourself. I feel for myself that just carrying the extra weight makes me tired. I also have vitamin D def. and have been put on a large weekly dose of vit.D. Unfortunately, fad diets don't work believe me I have tried them all. Jenny Craig was the easiest and I got
good results while on it but with time it comes back. So I got some Zumba tapes and have been doing that 4times per week, increased water intake (CRYSTAL LITE, no diet soda) watching my diet (cut down on eating out and watch everything I put in my mouth) I find by chewing gum I am more aware of snacking. Someone once said"a minute on your lips and years on your hips" know it sounds lame but its true. I have started to see some results and even though I have more to do its a start. So hang in there and keep a positive attitude, YOUR WORTH IT.

You should check out the Paleo Diet. Although it's really not a diet, it's a way of eating. You eat only real foods and leave the processed stuff alone and that includes grains. I went from 315lbs to 240lbs slow and staedy.

I am lost when it comes to losing weight. I don't even know where to begin. I am 5'6, 34 yrs old and up until 18 months ago I weighed 132 (even after 3 children). I currently weigh 194. I haven't eaten fried foods or fast foods in almost because they just started to gross me out. I don't drink soft drinks. I love veggies and fruits. I've never been a big junk food eater even a child. My problem started with insomnia, which I am still fighting with (I've been awake all night as I type this. Ambien isn't working). I went to the doctor and she told me that the insomnia, vitamin d deficiency and iron deficiency each by itself causes fatigue and with me dealing with all 3 at once she could see why I gained so much weight. I don't want to do one of those fad diets and I want to be healthy and get down at least 140. I've read so many conflicting articles on weight loss I don't know what to do. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
