Email Amazon with your order number and tell them you would like a refund of the difference. Just make sure you a) bought it from Amazon and not a third party and b) that it has already shipped.

You can get quicker results by using Amazon's phone service. Go to the contact page and enter your number. They call you back, you can talk to an actual human and they get it all done in a few minutes.

I was also told that you can request price adjustments several times over your 30 days.

My TV dropped $450.00 and Amazon refunded the difference with a simple email to their customer service department. I wound up getting a 52 inch LCD for $1857!! Keep an eye on the prices as they can change daily. The 30 day guarrantee is great!

Amazon told me that they changed its policy effective 9-1-08 regarding post-guarantee pricing. I bought a Samsung LN-46A650 for $1649.90 and the next day the price dropped to $1599.95. I e-mailed customer service and did receive a $49.95 credit. In the e-mail I received from Amazon, it stated that this was against their new policy but gave it to me anyways.

I just got the same situation. Ordered a big TV, price dropped the next day by 120 bucks, emailed in like I always have in the past, got the same "one-time exception" and "against our policy" but didn't know it had just changed. Wow, that's a huge negative in my book. Amazon just dropped a notch.

The Amazon price guartantee is gone.They will slowly phase out any price refunds because this is the first xmas season since it was dropped but after the new year forget it.
