Does anyone know if Big Fish games will play on the Kindle Fire - in the near future? I know they play on iPad, but I plan on sticking with my Kindle Fire only.

It might be a good idea to ask Big Fish Games.

I thought about asking Big Fish - I just figured they would tell me to ask "Amazon". Guess there's only one way to find out. ;)

Just the other day I asked BigFish Games if any of their games were available for Kindle Fire. They replied that as of the moment, there were none. At some time in the future they do hope to have their games available for Kindle Fire. They could not provide any more information. We will just have to keep checking BigFish Game site.

Thanks so much for that information! I did try looking for an answer in their forums, but didn't find an answer to my question. Thanks again - and I will continue to check up with BigFish.

I own 3 games from Bigfish that play on my Kindle Fires regular and HD only They are Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek (Kindle Tablet Edition) and Empress of the Deep: The Darkest Secret (Full) be sure you buy these games if you wish to play the full versions the only free version is not a full version. Also there are some known glitches on all of the games from big fish for Kindle the third is Mahjong towers. Also you need to either purchase them through your kindle fire or on amazons website. They do not work through bigfish and you pay more.

Hi thinking about getting one to play big fish games on it at work rather than using my ipod touch which is really too small to play games. Will they not sideload onto the kindle like other apps can be? I've been doing a lot of research on this and had a dabble with one in a shop, just need to know about the big fish games as this is the main reason I'm buying one.

Some of the big fish games are available for the kindle fire and kindle fire HD and they work well other games from them do not. However, this is the same for all of the games for kindles you will have Issues with each kindle. I have Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek (Kindle Tablet Edition) this game Glitched on my older kindle fire but work well on the fire HD. Empress of the Deep: The Darkest Secret (Full), and Diner Dash worked well on all of my kindle fire's however, it is small and hard to work with on the kindle fire 7". But works well on the fire HD 8.9. Mahjong towers does not work on my kindle fire HD 8.9 and will not load to it. I own hundreds of Big fish games on my computers and love there games. When looking at there games check the list of registered kindles to your account on Amazon to be sure they are suppose to work with that particular kindle. As always read the reviews because some times they work fine for people and other times they do not. Be careful with games like Diner Dash because you have to buy (pay real money for) extra tips some times to advance in the game even though you can earn them as well. I FEEL THIS IS A RIP OFF BECAUSE ONCE I BUY THE GAME I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO CONTINUE PAYING TO USE IT. I HAVE BLOCKED THE PURCHASES FOR THIS GAME WITH MY PARENTAL CONTROLS SO THAT THEY ARE NOT ACCIDENTALLY BOUGHT WHEN I LET MY SON OR A MINOR USE THE KINDLES. There are a lot of reveiws for the games but we forget to say wich kindle they work on Such as the original kindles fires were not HD and there are very few games that work on the Kindle readers. I own several Kindles from the readers right up to the newest kindle fire HD 8.9 and sometimes the games just are not compatible with one but works great on others. FOR ANYONE READING AND POSTING ON THIS DISCUSSION OR COMMENTING ON THE GAMES PLEASE REMEMBER TO POST WHAT TYPE OF KINDLE YOU ARE USING. THAT IS A BIG HELP.

Just a note if you go to they will direct you back to amazon if you try to buy a game for kindle from them. Every time I click on kindle games through bigfish this happens.

So say I own a big fish game already that the ipod touch is running, would I be able to load it onto the kindle from itunes on my computer?

I believe you will have to purchase the game separate through amazon to work on the kindle if its available for it. We know that the games on my computer are different from the kindle versions. Check with amazon on that.

I just recently bought 2 kindle fires. I have been a big fish gamer for several years now. I just recently added on the big fish games unlimited, however, while I have a PC , a iPhone, an I pad and now 2 kindles, None of them seem to play the games from the unlimited package. Every time I try to get it on my kindle, it says I do not have the google play app. Has anyone been able to use the streaming games from the unlimited package of BF? I am so fed up, I am ready to go back to the regular package.

I only use the games that amazon has through bigfish because everyone I know says they do not work on kindle if you try to get them through BFGames. Amazon tells you right away which ones are compatible with the Kindles.

I have a Kindle Fire HD 7" and have purchased games from Bigfish through Amazon Appstore. Some of the games work really well but a few of them will give you problems because the screen is small and some hidden objects are off to the side of the screen where you can't get to them. Such is the case with Hidden Expodition Amazon where there are a couple of places in the game that you either can reach or they are just off far enough that you have to keep trying to get them. But all in all Bigfish still makes great games.

Yes, Big Fish Games' apps play just fine on the Kindle Fire, at least I've not had any problems with them. I have 'Mystery Case Files: Return to Ravenhearst' and 'Secrets of the Dragon Wheel,' and both play just fine for me.
